What a ridiculous statement, thats like saying Henry Ford is responsible for people killing themselves in poorly made cars.

This has to be one of the stupidest, idiotic, ignorant statement I have ever heard.

Only a small handful of people have died from 2c drugs and most of them were dumb asses that snorted 10-20x the amount of an oral dose he stated in pihkal. I think you are mixing up 2cs with stuff like 25x-nbomes which were not created by shulgin and took over after the government banned about all of the popular drugs Shulgen created because of a few idiots he made to conscious choice to take a massive dose of a drug they knew nothing about. What's ironic about your statement is none of the the RCs that are causing big problems right now with high death rates and addiction were even created or studied by Shulgin.
 
To the author - yr an idiot. Blaming Shulgin shows u know nothing about him... That's like blaming Burroughs, or Leary. Blame the govt. for not doing proper research, for putting people in jail for non-violent offenses, blame the establishment, the Queen, gangsters, bikies - anyone - but shooting the messenger, SMH. Shulgin was a genius, who absolutely didn't condone getting 'mashed' - who was a phd, and brought people together... shame on u. If it's not bad enough that there's camera's on every corner...

I wonder if the manufacturer of heroin felt this way. I guess creating aspirin would justify it.
Is shulgin responsible? Yes. Were these 100 teenagers irresponsible? Probably.
 
As I have already stated Shulgin just rediscovered MDMA. It was a German scientist working for Merck who originally developed the substance. MDMA was used as a psychotherapy tool and it has been used in recent years for the same purpose. See my previous post. Shulgin was trying to develop pharmaceuticals that could enhance our consciousness. He was trying to develop anti depressants as well. Basically he was trying to explore the human brain through chemistry. He's still kicking but I don't think he's doing much work these days so I'll use the past tense in this case.

I'd love for this newspaper to do a write up on MDPV and it's development in the 50's and subsequent availability as a "legal high" however brief and how many deaths occurred. At the end of the day newspapers are just sensationalist rags worth 2 things: starting fires and whipping your ass if you have no loo paper. Homeless people also find they make reasonable makeshift blankets.

Henry Ford gave the Nazi's money and other donations pre WW 2 and still was a closet supporter of Hitler during WW 2. Henry Ford and the Ford motor company are responsible indirectly for the deaths of possibly hundreds of thousands if not millions of people. Now that kind of knowledge would sell some papers. The media are amazing! Man rips own scrotum off while high on meow meow! Thanks to "The Sun", a journalistic pillar of integrity if ever there was one. The "Mail on Sunday" is just as much quality hobo bedding and shit house paper as "The Sun".

Peter Sheridan obviously based his masterpiece on well researched data and groundbreaking investigative journalism and not at all on emotional hysteria and misinformation. My investigative research on the life and times of Peter Sheridan indicated the following: He enjoys the trades mans entrance to facilitate his uphill gardening, especially on Sundays.

Shulgin is a beautiful old beatnik whose life work is a treasure to humanity, even if he did create some fairly unpleasant substances along the way, it was all in the name of scientific exploration. No massive financial gain, no shady dealings - just a personal quest to unlock the many secrets of pharmacology's finer details.
A far more noble man than any newspaper hack I've ever come across.
Real journalism is worthy of respect, but this is just an offensive smear...and I wish this thread would go back into its hole in the ground where it belongs.
 
Haha hell yeah spacejunk. I inferred that as the ford motor company made cars and cars crash well... that and the whole Nazi thing. Yeah fuck this thread I won't be posting in it again. I did do some very deep research, at least as much as the author of this travesty of written media made, into the back ground of the very author of the article in question. In other words I made some assumptions about Peter's sexuality just like Peter toss-pot made assumptions about the work of Dr A. Shulgin. However I think my journalistic investigative research (slander for want of a better word) is far more factual and correct then that of the author of this piece of slop. Cheers and good to see you up at 3:30 am on a Saturday morning spacejunk! What me frying??? Never!!!
 
I come across so many people these days that just boggle my mind with their ignorance . It has gotten to the point where you have to completely disregard anything that these types of people say and do, and just keep fighting the good fight to do the things you know are suitable for you.

Clearly no matter how much these naysayers feel accomplished in doing things like this, just take a look at the nice drugs you and your friends have in your hands and realise we are the ones that are actually winning. Not only winning but evolving to be a more enlightened breed. No matter how they try they are losing this battle to try and stop people exploring consciousness.

There has been a ban on the sale of electronic cigarettes in Perth, instigated in part by the Cancer council. These people are not only ignorant in their ability to assess these products accurately for their harm, but are completely blind to the fact that ANYONE, can buy a battery, some wire, some Vegetable Glycerine and either tobacco, or Nicotine products and make a vaping device. They will not stop that.

Just be thankful... We get moments of pure peace and understanding while these sorts of people will be frustrated until the day they die because the insist on doing the equivalent of trying to stop the waves coming in at their local beach.

Do all you can to try and increase accurate knowledge about drugs and we will continue to make progress. They have tried to stop us and how has that worked out for them?
