But according to Mr Connolly, Flowers is only ever tested for cocaine and heroin, so stays off cocaine in the days leading up to the test, and sticks to ketamine, or simply fails to turn up at all.

Mr Connolly told The Mail on Sunday: ‘I arrived there about 10.30pm and Charles soon went to bed, taking a sleeping pill. Paul then came over to me and whispered, “Let’s get some coke”. So I made a call to a dealer who turned up with five grams. Paul gave me £125 and sent me outside to take delivery

By 1.30am, the pair had managed to use the entire stash, so with the arrival of Mr Connolly’s friend – another escort – it was time to order more. ‘I couldn’t believe we had got through such a large amount in such a short time,’ said Mr Connolly. ‘But Paul had the vast majority of it, washed down with Absolut vodka.’

This time, Flowers made the call to a drug dealer, but it was Mr Connolly who was again sent outside with £125 of Flowers’s money to collect another five grams of cocaine.

There may be no such thing as 'Rhino Ket' but there's also no actual ket anywhere at the moment. He may be not going a day without snorting random white powders but that is surely all it can actually be at the moment.

Also, don't really see what the story is here. Man has drug problem. So do lots of other people but they don't get the full page photospread, sneaky video, followed by *ahem* 'journalists' treatment. Where is the public interest in this? There was when he was in charge of a large(ish) bank but now he's just a fat auld unemployed bloke. If the Heil is that interested in fat auld unemployed blokes who take a lotta drugs they need only go into any pub in the land to find plenty.

Definitely. Not sure why the Daily Mail is so fixated with him. Well, I can guess, but it's insane.
I actually feel sorry for the guy, yes, he may have a banker's past, but there must be a limit to the amount of public shaming one can be subject to. He clearly has an addictive personality, loves his sex, drugs and alcohol - like a few Bluelighters do - what a nightmare being constantly outed by so called "friends" for a few bucks.
