Anyone know anything similar to this remix?



DJing a house party in a couple weeks and I've found in the past this will make even a roomful of the most not up for it cunts in the world dance. Problem is, where to go after this, a couple of Motown numbers and Josh Wink's Marvin Gaye edit? I'm out of ideas.

Ha, aye! That's a good shout. Basically looking for stuff to grab the attention of people who don't give a fuck whether I'm playing my wee heart out or whether some cunt's put the latest Now album on. A bit of Aretha Franklin usually works well :)

It's not the sort of crowd where I'd need to worry about not being cheesy, in fact cheesy is probably better.


Edit - Actually the mad wobble bass on that Pretty Lights track sounds fucking terrible. Sack that.

Surprisingly, considering it's at number 3 on Beatport, that's fucking quality. I've never actually listened to it before, usually Beatport Top Ten = Shite.


Edit - I skipped halfway through that Wolfgang Gartner track. Heard about 1.5 seconds, couldn't turn it off fast enough lol.

I now feel better about my drunken £15 porridge purchase from Spain.

Vaguely happy cos lass I'm seeing is on her way over with weed. Also vaguely pissed because she said she'd get the weed if I get the baccy, I have no baccy so limp to the shop on my fucked foot (don't wear new docs without socks, kids), get their cheapest 8g pack, limp back, then figure I should get my heel cleaned up and bandaged. Go to the kitchen cupboard to get the medikit and sat right next to it are my ashtrays and half a pack of fucking tobacco.

Mother been tidying again while I've not been here. Stuff is where it is for a reason!
