Gibberings CLXV - Reported for being racist against drugged up clowns

And not sure yet.. currently fairly stoned and thinking about tonight/tomorrow night plans. I'm deliberating paying £30 for a dnb night at the Warehouse Project, which is rather steep. 8( Or there's a metal night for a fiver.

Nope8( Been out shopping today now being lazy.

Cooking five spice duck leg (probably with some sort of glaze) and bok choi and watching the snooker.

Got some fun times lined up for next weekend though.

WHP is ok once or twice if the lineup is particularly good, the one tomorrow doesnt seem all that. The venue looks pretty interesting though.

Teheh, aye, good point! Yeah.. the venue really is gorgeous - saw Bonobo there a wee while back, and it was particularly impressive with some shrooms in the mix.

Yeah, but do you not find metal nights a tad unfriendly? I've grown up with the metal scene, but really hate the lack of smiles/cuddles/plurry stuff. Or is it different where you are?

Now this really surprises me. I've always found metal bars to have the nicest, most friendly, people of all. Granted, I've not been to any proper electronic music events (I imagine they're pretty big on the PLUR), but metal bars definitely out-friendly normal pubs and commercial nightclubs IME.

Well, yeah.. they're usually full of genuinely nice people, but I guess that metal clubs tend to attract a lot more introverted types. Dunno.

Tbf though I can't really be fucked with that shit these days though. I definnitely think the average 'proper' rave is far more tense than a metal night though.

I've never been to a metal night that ended with someone wielding a samurai sword threatening to lop someoone's head off.

Eh? I only have Owen on ignore seems as he feels the need to repeat my PMs, which is actually AGAINST BLUA. I've given him several chances but enough of enough!
Everyone else I just jokingly ignore temporarily if we've had a falling out or whatever! Then the next day we laugh it off. Life's too short to be serious all the time :D
