acid reflux and OXYS. ????

LIKE HOLY SHIT. i am having the worst acid reflux everrr!!! its making me nauseous ! is that from me taking 3 oxys 5mg? i mean i didnt eat anything that would do that ! so.... anyone else have this problem? or does that not happen! ? and its from my stomach issue. i just want to know if the pills are causing it before i take 2 more and knock out my bedroom.:?
 
It is possible. Normally the GI side effects manifest as nausea, vomitting, and constipation but dyspepsia and reflux can occur. Buy some Gaviscon or Pepcid.
 
Yeah it happens, I had stomach problems for a long time before ever using opiates. It got worse from daily oxy use, like burping burning liquid so my doctor prescribed meds for that. You can try omeprazole otc see if that helps.
 
well i started feeling nauseous after like an hour then i took promethazine which makes me tired so i had to counteract that with 2 oxys , and ate like 3 tums lol. horrible. like it is just starting to go away but man. it didnt do that to me yesterday. at all. only thing it did was make my stomach hurt. thanks for that feed back. im so ignorant to narcotics its sad! they really make me nervous because of the whole getting addicted thing.

yeah i will have to look into that! i mean tums usually does the trick. but idk. i know i have something wrong with my stomach(which is why i was prescribed these) so maybe that has something to do with it. i wont know til monday . thanks man!
 
Ya i had a bad time with acid relflex. It sucked it went on like a week straight i was using all sorts of opiates and drinking a lot, but after slowing down on all pills besides benzos its gone away. It may be with what your eating too.

well that is the wierd part. i never have acid reflux problems. and since i have this stomach issue i havent really been eating. maybe crackers and gingerale. thats bout all i can force down.
 
It's been my expierence that any version of oxycodone in excess causes heartburn. Take 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda dissolved in 2 oz of warm wAter and take like a shot of liquor
