I used to smoke weed all day everyday. I used to get high
Not now, now it makes me feel like a worthless piece of shit. I feel more high when sober. I like to smoke a nice hash now again though, Specially on a comedown.

Evenin', all :)

I am sore. Sore enough to be invoking the Pain Thread shortly. Suffice to say booze is actually performing a useful function for once. Never really noticed its analgesic effects before but is really quite noticeable this eve. Not that I can really spend the next few days bladdered but in acute ouchiness it really is helping a lot.

At risk of becoming repetitive, good luck with it - I suspect there may come a time for many who will have to ponder that question. I only did a week which is more detox than rehab but in hindsight I kinda wished I gone for a longer spell. It did break the cycle for me and did break the dependence on opioids but I didn't - and don't - feel "fixed". Actual rehab (as opposed to detox) seems a scary thing cos it's a long time to be more or less locked up (albeit able to walk out at any time) but sometimes I think that extra time can really make a difference. I have no idea what the best option for you is at the moment but hope whatever you do decide to go for helps get you to where you want to be <3

Weed is awesome, I have no idea how anyone could dislike it.

I used to think that too. Now it makes me hear voices. Not sure I can ever smoke like I once did again. Perhaps with a heavily CBD-influenced strain but bog-standard 'skunk' types appear to be marginally better than synthetics at best for triggering voices episodes. 'Tis a shitter. I blame the synths personally but have nothing to back that up beyond coincidence of symptoms. Since then weed brings out the same problem. Not as intensely but still enough to be a problem. Been saying for years that there's too much emphasis on boosting THC levels whilst ignoring CBD levels and that's very much what appears to be causing me to come a cropper. Was once a balanced effect, now totally imbalanced - can now see why docs have become more concerned about it :\

YMMV and all that.

Weed is awesome, I have no idea how anyone could dislike it. Very relaxing and fantastic for insomnia.

I'm guessing you're relatively young?

There are shitloads of reason people don't like cannabis, most of the people I know who used to be huge stoners when they were younger don't touch it any more.

Most people find it exactly the opposite of relaxing unless they are used to it because it's so strong these days and whilst it can be a useful tool for insomnia, the quality of sleep you get is actually far lower than a natural nights sleep imo.

Each to their own though.

Yeah the exact opposite is what i started experiecing years ago so gave it up, doesnt agree with me at all these days

Yep! And to be fair, I much prefer it in smaller quantities. (Though same with most things, really. Except tea.)
