Would Xanax lower your ability to concentrate on tasks or just make you not care about the end result?

At therapeutic doses it helps me think more clearly, as I have no anxiety.

At recreational doses I often forget what I am doing, and yes generally not really care.

For me it lowers my inhibitions more than alchohal. I generally just don't care.

Well its all about how much you do. Like the poster above me said small doses will help you in that aspect bit large doses just make you sleepy so you can imagine it wouldn't be very easy to concentrate like that drooling everywhere

I was thinking about 2-3 mg

As someone with pretty much no tolerance to Xanax, 2mg makes me not even care and end up doing something else which seems way more imporant or who knows what. Xanax makes me black out in recreational doses and I honestly hate it now. No hate though, I've said enough, but yeah pretty much when used not as "prescribed" it makes people I've seen including myself to act incredibly stupid and not give a shit.

2-3 mg used to make me call most of my contacts at 3 am, then forget I called them 15 minutes later. it probably won't help with concentration.

Unless you're tolerant to xanex 3mgs is a black-out dose. I would say that would impede concentration for sure :)
