Wow. How blue is that cake? I dimly recall attempts at blue cakes when I was a nipper (blue was my fave colour) but they were never that blue. Not the actual cakey bit anyway. I'm properly impressed. And hankering after a taste of blue :!

Fella interviewed me for a "user satisfaction survey" from my local DSP t'other morning and he didn't just ask my age he told me (having my details to hand) and I was actually a year out in what I usually think. My 30s have been a mixed bag at best but that would be down to fairly specific circumstance. I am putting much faith in that life beginning at 40 thing now though...

I got one from the both of you and you just reminded me I've not spent it yet. Now to find my Amazon p/w I made up on the spot at the time and have precious little idea of where - or indeed if - I wrote it down... :!

(actually i'm reasonably sure i did write it down but that's a big ol' stack of papers i'll need to trawl to get me bookgoodies in all the same - lesson learnt)

Why?! The thirties are great, or at least they were for me, and the forties have been good so far, touching wood! Much better than my teens and early twenties. Let's enjoy it while we can, peeps, time flies :) %)
