Btw I'm not suggesting drugs be legalized and let the country go into a fuck frenzy free for all..

Drug education should be taught throughout school.. Once 18, you should go on a short course.. Drug safety, info, what to do in event of overdose, blah blah blah.. Upon passing the course you get a license (like a driving license)..

This will enable the holder to buy certain amounts of drugs from specialised vendors.. no kids allowed, no fancy packaging, no adverts on TV, bus shelters, etc..

Ha! I hate that feeling, I can always switch off when needed but mostly I just don't want to. Wind up with a bank balance mother would not be proud of.....depends on the company to be fair, I have sensible friends and complete feinds . I adjust! Suppose the earlier you start the better because at a reasonable bed time you can think there's still hope of a Normal day tomorrow, if it gets to 4am and I run out, id rather get more to keep me going. I'm useless if I don't get Atleast 6 hours sleep

Not familiar with the quote....I think if all drugs were legal, people with morals regarding law would take drugs and addiction rates would be much higher. more people out of work, more children at risk and such.
Although purity of legalized drugs would be higher due to them being government controlled and less crimes committed to obtain drugs it wouldn't make people sensible in taking them, sticking to a controlled dose as binge drinkers don't, therefore more hospitalization from overdose, thinking because it's legal it must be safe.....

There's pros and cons which ever angle you're looking from. On a whole though I believe if one dangerous drug such as alcohol is legal then why shouldn't mdma be legal?
Personally I think alcohol is far more dangerous than mdma. That's just the way I see it though.
As far as legalizing weed goes though I Am sceptical as an ex daily smoker.

I'm probably talking utter rubbish in my intoxicated state but that's my personal opinion.
 
Ok. Youre right about people not being sensible in taking them, like you say, look at alcohol. However, that's where education comes in, as rick was saying a few posts back. Added to that, just because some people don't have enough grey matter to do things sensibly, this is no reason to criminalise those who aren't as stupid. In fact, stupidity is no reason to criminalise anyone at all.

You're absolutely right about alcohol being more dangerous than MDMA. Several studies show this in different ways, Professor Nutts among them. As regards your skepticism re ganja, I'm afraid you can't let your own personal experience cloud your judgement on wider society. Cannabis is one of the safest drugs around, though there are many safer even than dope.

As for your last sentence, I don't know how to talk utter cleanly. You're on your own there. Welcome to EADD and BL.

yes I agree, my own personal experiences with weed should not give me reason to believe it's bad for everyone....I just don't think people fully understand the psychological effects it can have. Judging only from personal and a few close to home instances of course.
Funnily enough I was always fine smoking solid or resin, it was weed that tipped me over the mental edge.....I love the smell of it but smoking it messed me up.



Just to add - back on topic.....drank a few beers and feel pissed as hell. My little baggie is full of bullshit. Conclusion.....grow a brain and do not impulse buy rc's without extensive research.

PV + Booze + Benzos + Gabapentin + Codeine....

Do you smoke spliffs? Spliffs always make me very ill when drinking.

Smoked on it's own, through a pipe leaves me with no nausea whatsoever.

Thing is, the class system acts as a guide and the illegitimacy becomes a stance against them ie - they're not recommended for you. Availability becomes another huge issue.

Death caused by drugs is about the same, homicides have increased 40% (many of which considered related to the rise in distribution) diseases from needles one down. Of course, there is pro's and con's.

None Raas, not now anyway but back when, I used to smoke spliffs or shotties,(500ml bottle filled a quarter way up with water, makeshift tube with a few mm of cigarette sliced into it to hold the weed that it's dabbed in)
either made me feel mega sick after beer.

That might be your culprit. I cannot take any tobacco with weed after drinking. Friends have found this also.

It just becomes a horrible time battling with nausea.
 
Oh yeah, we know it as throwing a whitey....learnt never to mix the two. Anyone familiar with mamba? People round here seem to be smoking that a lot. Not tried it myself as I'm not into hallucinogenics
