Opioids Using Methadone rectally?

So Ive been reading alot of people saying plugging or rectal use of some drugs are a good thing, Im curious if plugging methadone would be a good idea? I feel pretty good taking it orally, but im always up for feeling better.

Ill be honest, ive never plugged anything, how far do you put it in there...all the way, or just about an inch or 2, or ...?

I may be wrong, but Id kinda think if you put the pill too far up there, it would just get 'stuck' and dissolve into any excrement that may be in there at the time, just because someone goes every day, that doesnt mean the 'pipes' are completely clear...at least I think..? (sorry for being gross, but I dont want to plug it and then have it just dissolve into the crap and wasted).

Its not needed with methadone the oral bioavailability is so high that putting it up your bum won't add to it that much mabye a little bit more but not much. Rectal use is more practical for a drug that isn't absorbed well orally such as buprenorphine which only 10 percent gets absorbed orally and other drugs such as morphine+heroin which have a very low bioavailability when taken orally something like 30 percent. Methadone taken orally is about 80-90 if I'm not mistaken.

ahh.. those were the days.
at the clinic the nurse would give me my daily liquid dose and id whip out the oral syringe, suck it up, drop my pants and plug it.. the look on her face daily was priceless.

No but in a seriousness though.. no need to plug it with it's high oral BA.
If you were to do it though you wouldn't just shove the pill up your ass lol.
You'd need to dissolve it in water and suck it up with an oral syringe or luer lock syringe (w/o a needle attached!) and lube it up a little bit and put it a couple inches in and squirt it in.. of course you would wanna do this after you take a shit so that there is more room on the membranes in your butt to soak up the drug.
That's just a quick run down on plugging..BUTT (lol)

Yeah, a few months ago, I heard about this guy who met his dealer at some parking lot, the exchanged the money/dope, and a cop happened to be driving by, I guess he thought they looked suspicious and pulled in behind the 2, the guy had like 3 seconds to try and get rid of the dope he had in his hand, I was told he had half gram of powder H, he turned around, opened up the little paper package and shoved all the powder in his mouth and swallowed as the cop was getting out of the car...apparently they did not get arrested, cuz the cop believed their story about just running into each other and they were old friends, yada, yada, and/or could not find any reason to search further, IDK all the details, but I do know the cop left and the 2 people were not arrested.

Anyway, the guy was a bit disappointed he had wasted all his dope, but had he not, the cop could have searched and found it The person telling me did not know if he got high from swallowing it, but I doubt it, Id like to hear if he felt anything, but Id imagine it would be just like taking a half gram of morphine...right?

Other than that, Ive never heard of anyone taking H in that way, as it would be wasted.

I know plenty of people who prefer the rectal ROA for methadone, but my experience with it has only been with pill/tablet form methadone, not methadone liquid from clinics, and it is extremely effective, dissolves in a couple seconds in cold water, very rapid onset and long duration.

The BA's are pretty similar for rectal and oral methadone. The absorption rate is faster though with rectal. With the liquid, though the BA is so high and is coupled with an already rapid absorption rate, that plugging wouldn't really be worth it. And OP, you don't just shove whole pills up your ass. Hah. You break it down into a liquid first and squirt it in with an oral syringe. Check out our Plugging Megathread for the basics.

If you're comfortable with it, plugging would probably be a little more quickly absorbed than oral methadone as it doesn't have to diffuse through your liver first. Just be careful if you're switching from oral dosing because it could be a little more potent.

Its impossible for me to tell how much morphine your bag of heroin would have in it because heroin purity varys so drastically everywhere you go on one street corner you might find 40-60℅ pure then just around the block somebody's selling 10-20℅ pure. It just isn't consistent but yea you get the picture it seems eating heroin is a all around wasteful R.O.A. I've known girls that do this by parachuting it rolling it up in a rolling paper and swallowing it. It got then pretty high but no way would I ever TRY that. Ludes were a muscle relaxer that was banned in the 80s wasn't it? It was all the rage for a while there
