Gibberings CLXIII - Up All Night Shooting Cheese Balls

I'd expect nothing less. ;)

I don't think I figure in many people's dreams, sadly. Apart from back in the days where a girl would tell you she'd had a dream about you when she probably hadn't. You know, those days?

I guess it's an honour then. Unless I was doing something really embarrassing.

Yeah totally. Happened all the time.

:(

A boy can dream :D

On another note, all people below the age of 45 shut your eyes and scroll down.

For those above 45 (anyone?) get ready for some exponential happiness growth coming your way:

(Something tells me this study was sponsored by amazon)

You mean to say I haven't even bottomed out yet? Not only that, but I have a decade's worth of emotional plateau to look forward to once I do? :D

Ah well. Looks pretty good from 45 onwards.

I actually did have a dream about you the other night, it was bizarre. Nothing obscene, we just met.

Yeah but remember you get to buy a red convertible and have sex with young blondes you meet at hotel bars.

Embrace the midlife crisis!

Flawed study. If that study took into account drug users, there would be a spike around 17-20 when we had our first proper MDMA roll. Would be off the charts...

I doubt turning 70+ will beat that somehow ;)

"Junglechops"???

If you'd of been paying attention I said in the morning, "off out for some "FUN and reflection".... I do that sometimes, ya know, have fun on drugs...

I always take something away from trips, whether ive just had it for laughs or therapeutic reasons. Yesterday was the former.

I dont "have" to take acid to resolve problems, id be taking acid everyday of the week if that were the case. For someone who's never taken acid you seem to think you know a lot.... You do realise it wears off Raas, then once it has I can use my more than capable brain and emotions to reflect on it, and maybe implement whatever it maybe in to my life. Or disregard it because it was a crazy drug nonsense...

Theres no cheating going on in my personal growth, im not judgemental for one, something you seem to be growing into quite nicely. Well done Raas, good on ya.

You say its not a personal attack but if you're honest, it is, I only have to so much as mention acid and you're on the case about how im weak or incapable of solving and resolving personal problems without the aid of drugs.

You're pretty rude Raas and most definitely ignorant.

I wish I had time to reply properly as you've got right on my tits....

I still likes you though Raas...<3

It is somewhat ironic that somebody so keen on personal development and so vocal about his opinion of others' personal development manages to maintain such a distinct lack of sensitivity and understanding. Not sure of how good an advert for abstinence-based personal development that is really.

I would tend to disagree about the use of drugs as an 'aid' to help you work through things, or as a means of creativity, being bad. That's all they are, an aid... sure it might be wrong to rely on them but it doesn't reflect negatively on those who choose to use them in moderation for such. Everyone is free to make their own choices & you should not judge them for doing so

Hmmm.... I was trying to offer an opposing opinion not trying to be judgemental here. Sorry if it came out wrong.

I'd expound more but... I have a frickin' headache worthy of hell right now.... Was in a right pissy mood last night and polished a bottle of wine off in about 20 minutes. Brain not thanking me now, or stomach. Was a nice rush though. Alcohol's actually quite a decent drug if consumed quickly. If only it came in pill form,

Try plugging it, raas. It's dangerous, like, and it can sting, but it certainly hits the spot.

I'm on day eleven without alcohol. I shaved my head completely along the way, but it's been worth it.

Red Borneo ... supposedly the particular type I got was grown on a private reserve.

I was thinking of getting some Green Malay if that goes well. I don't think the white strains would be my cup of tea.

Prof Nutt thought similarly. He did try to get a supposed "alcohol replacement" in pill form brought to the masses but never heard much about it. Can't remember what it was called but sounded very much like a benzo (presumably with above average recreational value to make it more comparable with alcohol than most benzos are). I can't really see the 10 pints a night brigade taking to popping a pill or two to get their jollies somehow. I suspect there something intrinsic to downing pints or knocking back shots that boozehounds would miss even if the effects of the pill were identical.

Personally I find drinking booze quickly just makes me nauseous with all the headspin. Like many people, I like the effect of a few drinks - tipsy not drunk - but end up ruining it by getting caught up with trying to extend tipsiness as if it's somehow going to miraculously not descend into drunkenness 8)

Indeed.

I think some of you are being a bit harsh on raas. I understand what he is trying to say n I don't think he is actually trying to be offensive. I think he says stuff without thinking at times n is misunderstood. I don't think he is judging any of you.

Personally I can't imagine, and I mean this without malice, judgement or offence, how anything drug-induced can be real so how can it improve on personal growth? The drugs are making you hallucinate n you are thinking that this is real.

Bear in mind that I've never taken psychedelic drugs so by all means explain it to please n lets have a discussion. But I'm warning anyone who tries to argue in an offensive / derogaratory way will go on ignore.

I'm ignore to this n so this is the opinion I have. I'm interested to hear/read how these drugs aid personal growrh.

And can we stop the rass- bashing please because it's not necessary. The bloke just gave an opinion.

Evey :) xxxx
