Opioids Will Codeine and Promethazine make you go nuts? (delerient)

i've never been a fan of opioid cough syrup (stupid street prices) but it seems like a lot of rappers have gone nuts who happened to have a codeine and promethazine habit. i'm wondering if, since promethazine is an anti-histamine, would a habit tend to make one go crazy?
 
If too much promethazine is taken faster than it can be eliminated than yeah it could.
That's why people usually mix it with sprite (or other non caffeinated beverage) to dilute it and make last longer and get less drug per sip and they sip it slow slowly.
It slowly builds to a mellow high.. if they chugged the syrup from the bottle. They'd either pass out or possibly go delirious.
(not neccesarily from the codeine which is the high they usually seek, but the promethazine which is basically just in there as a calmative/antihistamine/anti emetic).

I think a few rappers have od'ed on just syrup too. I know people who get prescribed prometh and codeine to take daily for a couple months at a time, and they seem to be ok even when they abuse it. IME prometh just makes one tired and almost drunk feeling. And codiene is just a weak opiate. But i imagine if someone walked around all day drinking syrup like lil wayne for extended periods of time, there might be some fucked up side effects. You might even start talking in auto-tune
 
Ya Pimp C and DJ Screw oded on just prometh n codeine i believe. I bet they had to drank a shit ton since both probly had high tolerance. I like the music but not a huge fan of the lean scene. Like the OP said street prices are bs most likely due to all the hype from rap music
 
Sell lean buy good unadulterated opioids

Pimp c also had sleep apnea btw
