TOO MANY HOES IN MY MOTHAFUCKING MEAL
so I tried methadone 3 times, once at 7 mg then at 8 and last time 10. the high was good but a bit weak unless marijuana was smoked.
my question is: will taking 15 mg get me a lot higher to the point of being sick? how steep is the dose response curve? thanks (I have 0 tolerance)

It probably will make you puke a little bit taking 15 mg with your tolerance to it, but that feeling wont last long, then you will feel good for hours, nice thing about methadone is its very long acting!

When I first started taking methadone, If I took a large dose like that, I would get the same type of pukey feeling at first just like good heroin does, but I managed to stave it off, as I was more worried about puking up the un-dissolved pill and wasting it, so right after i took it, I ate tic tacs and drank little tiny drinks of water when I would get that puking feeling,,,pills should be completely dissolved in about 15-20 minutes.

I would say the methadone dose response curve is linear, as most prescription drugs are. When I used methadone recreationally 10mg was my go-to, but if that's not doing it for you then I don't see a problem in upping to 15.

As fizzy said though, and as you know if you've used it before, expect long effects. I used to pop a 10 in the morning with the expectation I'd be fucked up all day.

Its hard to know some people will not feel anything others will throw up and be half asleep if you handled the other doses well then you should be fine but if you felt you were getting sick with 8 mgs then don't double it. I don't know much about your tolerance tho I mean have you been a heroin addict for 20 years or is methadone the first opiate you ever used? I don't know what you meant by 0 tolerance was that meaning to methadone or did you mean to all opiates.

^^^^^ even when I used methadone with a relatively medium-strength tolerance to other opioids (I would use 30-60 mg of oxycodone daily at the time) 10 mg of methadone would have me nodding like crazy for a couple hrs and high for basically all day. So if uve got no opiate tolerance (opiate/opioid naive) or even a small habit, I wouldn't push it much higher than 15mg. Methadone in pill form takes a while to take effect (IMO up to 1.5 hrs) so give it time to work and don't redose for at least 3hrs to be on the safe side.
:)

^^I agree with that, and I forgot to mention that I used to take it to get unattractively fucked up. But people do feel it very differently. I could be conversing on 10-15mg with benzos added in but friends of mine would be down for the count on just the 10mg of 'done.

thanks everyone.
yes methadone is my first opiate and I've taken it only 3 times. tried heroin once also.
thanks for the advices everyone, I'll prolly take 15 mgs next time.

Yeah methadone being a full agonist, the increase in effect is proportional to an increase in dose. The more you take, the more it will affect you. But still, everyone is different so increases in dose can affect people differently, hit them harder or not, etc. For example, for some.. taking just an extra 5-10mg's can be all it takes to put them over the edge into really high territory.. for others, it only slightly increases the effects. It varies. It's not an exact science because the individual his/herself, is a large variable in terms of how the drug will affect them.
