Hi I'm glad to be here. It looks like a lot of interesting reading. I'll get started now.
Everyone have a great day!!!;)

you have a great day as well, and yes there is quite a bit of interesting reading. This is my favorite drug website for discussion, with drugs-forum coming in at a close 2nd. Erowid is my go to resource for most drugs. But then some of the drugs I will be conducting experiments with are not cataloged on Erowid as of yet...;)

Conduct experiments with and document research on obscure and not very well documented chemicals in hopes of discovering unscheduled and easily obtained stimulations that delight the senses, stir the mind, and penetrate the veil which hides beauty and the wonders of celestial vistas. =D

“Use them with care, and use them with respect as to the transformations they can achieve, and you have an extraordinary research tool. Go banging about with a psychedelic drug for a Saturday night turn-on, and you can get into a really bad place, psychologically. Know what you're using, decide just why you're using it, and you can have a rich experience. They're not addictive, and they're certainly not escapist, either, but they're exceptionally valuable tools for understanding the human mind, and how it works.”
- Alexander Shulgin

“To demand that a person pee in a cup whenever you wish him to, without a documented reason to suspect that he has been using an illegal drug, is intolerable in our republic. You are saying to him, "I wonder if you are not behaving in a way that I approve of. Convince me that you indeed are.

Outrageous.
Intolerable.”
- Alexander Shulgin

“I don't know if you realize this, but there are some researchers - doctors - who are giving this kind of drug to volunteers, to see what the effects are, and they're doing it the proper scientific way, in clean white hospital rooms, away from trees and flowers and the wind, and they're surprised at how many of the experiments turn sour. They've never taken any sort of psychedelic themselves, needless to say. Their volunteers - they're called 'subjects,' of course - are given mescaline or LSD and they're all opened up to their surroundings, very sensitive to color and light and other people's emotions, and what are they given to react to? Metal bed-frames and plaster walls, and an occasional white coat carrying a clipboard. Sterility. Most of them say afterward that they'll never do it again.”

- Alexander Shulgin

I conduct my experiments outside of the hospital and office. Most experiments are done at the nearby resort, here in Negril ;)

Hiya Maxie,

Glad you've join Bluelight - and welcome.

I'd advise you to look at the stickies above. It's often said that people don't read stickies but they actually contain useful information.

For instance, once you become a reach 50 posts, you will become a Bluelighter (instead of a Greenlighter) and will have access to the same facilities as everyone else like making and viewing blogs (I'm sorry I can't remember if you are able to view blogs before you become a Bluelighter, but I know that you cannot yet produce one...)

Would you be willing to tell us a bit more about yourself so that posters can make suggestions on suitable places for you to go. I apologise if this is coming across as patronising - it's just that a lot of new members find a site like BL daunting at first - so giving a brief explaining of your interests helps others give some pointers on where best to go; sub-forums; links and what-not.

It's a friendly community here, full of helping, intelligent and compassionate people so please don't hesitate in asking any questions. Also if you need to discuss something in private you can PM the moderators or BL Ambassadors and talk to them.

Hope you get what you need from your BL experience.

Evey
