hey guys

i've seen a few questions about this. the program was announced publicly (BL Ambassador Program) but i know you guys shrivel and die if you leave eadd so you won't have seen that :)

i feel that nmi is one of the more important forums on bluelight. people's decision to stay and contribute to the forum or move on without contributing could easily be influenced by their first interaction with us in nmi. for a while now we've had trouble attracting and keeping motivated staff members in the nmi forum. to any reasonable observer, it's not the site's sexiest forum and staff tend to burn out quickly and step down.

we also noticed that there's a regular, changing, active volunteer force in nmi - regular bluelighters who stick around to welcome newcomers and point them in the direction of the forum(s) they need. they want to help but have no wish to join the bl staff.

so we created this position to recognise their contribution, give them a couple of perks (bigger pm inbox and a forum to hang out in) and hopefully make nmi and bluelight a more welcoming place.

if anybody in eadd would like to help out, hit up the nmi staff with a pm.

er, the reverse bit I deliberately edited as he was saying words many would have found offensive.

The horse bit is quality though
 
Was nice wasn't it, Dan? Herbaliser are great but quite varied in approach. More will depend on what shuffle button feeds me I suspect...

Patti Smith - My Generation

Have seen and heard Horses discussed for years and held in reverence but never actually listened to it. Seems my copy is unlabelled so wasn't entirely sure it existed. Still not actually listened to it but nice to know I have it and can find in future. Above track is a fine cover, below appears to be a fine live version of another track from said album...

Patti Smith - Poppies (live '79)

Think I mainly thought of Patti Smith in terms of her later output which rarely appealed, does look like that particular album is gonna appeal greatly though.
