Heroin Question Regarding The Big H

it makes sense for the most part but to suggest that it's impossible is ridiculous. just because other people fail, doesn't make it a foregone conclusion for everyone else.

Tell you what.. you go out and casually do heroin for 5 years, then come back here and tell us we're wrong. I'd be very happy to eat some crow.

Anyway, OP. Back to your original question. There is no concrete way to gauge heroin purity (unless you have a lab). That's why you do test doses. Very very small amounts of what your normal dose would be, to figure out how strong a batch is, then go from there. It's about the only thing you can do.
 
i have no attitude and this isn't my first rodeo with dope. i also don't have all the answers and not once in this thread have i come across that way. i get it, it's hard not to want that feeling all the time once you've experienced it but for christ sake, it's sitting upstairs in my room right now and yet i'm sitting here sober as a bird. self-control is certainly within the realm of possibility here. i probably wouldn't even feel the need to dispute with you if you weren't essentially talking down to me, scag lol. no disrespect whatsoever btw. i know you've been there and done that.

I've already made my bad choices.. you still wanna make yours, fine, you gotta live with um not me. So, if you think you can do dope and not have a problem, cool. ^^^ only snorting, for sure. if there's one guarantee i can make without even a sliver of doubt, that's definitely it. i'm squeemish as it is but after doing even casual forum reading, I could neverrr even fathom shooting up.

The problem is that there's a point where self control has very little influence in a addiction.=D
I absolutely believe ppl can keep there use in control and if that's u great.: )
But...I know other ppl who might think they could do the same, with much less experience than u seem to have. That's y its important to add the reality of addiction.Anyways have fun be safe

Again not to preach but this statement doesn't mean shit.
I was so scared of needles I couldn't even look at them, even at a docs without fainting half the time.
That didn't stop shit once I got on an Opana nasal spray I stupidly made. Underestimated it, got way to hooked.
It didn't take to long before the needle became a good friend.
Hell for the first 6 months I couldn't even look, I'd have to have someone else hit me while I looked away.
It took a while but after being used for the privilege of getting unsick I eventually overcame the fear & learned to hit myself.
I still shake to bad to do it properly & would miss half the time but luckily I have a gf who is like my nurse as needed.
I hit, she removes the tourney, she registers, I hold & try not to shake & she pushes down the plunger.
Best I can do really as like I said I can do it myself but miss far to often for it to be worth it when I can get help.
So please don't think that having read everything on here you couldn't even fathom it.
Neither could I. I read everything, I had a horrible fear of needles, hell had one break off in my arm as a child.

Didn't matter when shit got real, like I said I ended up looking the other way & getting help till I got sick of being taken advantage of.
So don't consider this preachy, but please don't consider the fact that you've read things to mean a fucking thing.
I'd read everything I could find, I'd watched friends lives get fucked to shit by the point.
But when it came down to being sick enough & needing the B/A I overcame the fear enough to look away & get a hit.
Hell I ended up getting another one before the night was over, breaking my rule of oh I'll just try H.
Ended up whacking ER Morphine cooked up & disgusting which I also swore I'd never do.
Had a few months of ignorant usage plus whacking things I'd never whack now as well as being taken advantage of repeatedly before I learned my lessons.
Just glad I didn't do any serious damage that I'm aware of.

Note my usage is a result of pain management & though I've quit twice am now back on due to medical issues & doctors advice.
My initial usage started out medical as well but spiraled out of control until I got proper medical treatment but I digress.
I now only IV if the pain is to much to handle & I need immediate relief or for the occasional treat.
At most once or twice a month, usually more like once every couple of months but it's not an ROA I expect to write off at any point.
By the time I switched to doing it myself I'd learned the ins & outs & how to do things properly.
Now I must say however, that I am lucky I didn't get any major damage that I know of.
Now I use micron filters, sterile water, etc. but very few people I know do. Even though they know better, they just don't care.
Also I rarely ever use street substances as I have access to IR Hydromorphone & figure with a micron that's about as safe as I'm getting.

Regardless I digress as I begin to ramble as usual. I just wanted to throw in the warning as your post worried me enough to bother logging in.
As I sure as hell couldn't ever fathom it either, especially considering I'd faint even seeing a hypo.
You'd be surprised how strong the urge can become & how much that urge can overcome in terms of aversion to for example IV usage.
Just my 2 cents & hopefully I've added a bit of a sliver of a doubt to your definitive feelings of self control.
Either way I can rest easier knowing that I tried regardless of whether or not it had any impact. :)
 
^ i appreciate the concern, but i honestly boiled it down to the simplest reasoning. the first thing that comes to mind. to dig deeper, could i probably overcome a fear of needles? sure. could i ever trust myself enough with one to shoot myself up? hellll no. could i ever learn enough about the procedure to not miss a vein and ruin my arm and or god knows what else? again, hellll no. do i know anyone who could shoot me up? like one person lol and they would never do it. i have 0 interest in shooting up. never have, never will. now hopefully no one takes the time to analyze how my friend might shoot me up eventually haha. but yeah, as always, i appreciate the concern. you'll never hear me complain about that.

bummer. i was reading that you could supposedly take a toothpick and rub it on your gums with a tiny bit of product on it and that could tell you whether or not there was fent in it, but i definitely questioned the validity of that.

Sorry if this is a dumb question but like I said I've never tried heroin really...what's fent? Fentynal (so sorry)
