I would have to search for a thread with one of our usernames & then search it again to see if we conversed ... bit tedious & complicated. I tried a username search with yours as a keyword but had no joy...

I wonder where everyone is tonight, I guess some folks are in their beds & the hipsters are out & about with friends,

How are you today? My little one is having her 5ft birthday party soon, she's 4 but I, being caught up in other stuff forget n say she's 5 lol. I don't like to discuss her on open forums for obvious reasons or really at all much online. Not trying to be mean or offensive its just I learnt the hard way 5 years ago the dangers of the net n so, since then I keep anything that matters to me, private. I see a few people who have put pics of their kids on forums n I'm not judging them for it but it does worry me somewhat because not everyonline is as they seem especially if people are more vulnerable they have to take more vigilance in my opinion.

I knew that n I've only been here 6 months cause when you look through old threads (being the saddo I am to do that lol) you see the names at the side n then the quotes that people have made in continuous posts n they're different.
Look at the thread why did you choose your username? N you'll see what I mean.

How are you doing, Kronos? I was grateful that time when you gave me that support n cant remember if I thanked you for it. You are a very bright n wise bloke for your age n I mean that.

EADD is far better and more addictive than Corrie.. much better plotlines and mystery and intrigue.

I'm fine thanks Eveleivibe. No worries. I understand the anonymity. Don't share anything you don't feel comfortable in doing so. Just tell me to mind my own business I won't mind. How are you today? All good I hope.

My little one turns 6 this year. Can't wait for her party. I love playing with kids (there you go Sammy G, a quote for you mate ;)) It's like I now have an excuse for reliving my childhood. I don't see it as a chore or a bind at all. Fact is I get as much enjoyment out of it as I hope they do.:)

Sorry to hear that. I'm in a town where I don't know anyone aswell, full of mostly drunk idiots, I just avoid them and don't give a fuck what they do with themselves.
 
Nicklazz and Ceres I am in very similar boat as you both. Been thinking of upping sticks and moving again..but then again all that upheaval and probably end up in same situation in another location....it's difficult to know what to do to make it better...been here 3 years now and am pretty rural and isolated too. Really difficult to meet new likable people at my age. It seems people with little kids settle in new places so much better..sighhh..sorry tired rambling and been looking at houses all morning...

I think the characters are far more interesting and real on here, and there is far more than enough drama being played out by the various members to fill any fucking soap opera. There could be EADD The Movie, like The Wire only more net based. Wouldnt that be mad ?

Rural isolation feels very different to urban isolation. But you have a partner though Flo ? And a job ? Both things help lessen feelings of isolation, though i know exactly what you mean if you sense there is some kind of community going on that you are not part of, i feel the same way living where i do currently. It is hardly a welcoming place to strangers, but everyone else seems to know everyone else. I couldnt have stayed where i grew up and did know everyone though, most of the best people i knew moved away anyway.
