Misc Hydrocodone/Pseudoephedrine Cough syrup safety?

Hey, so I hate to start a thread just for this but here's what I'd love to know;

I've acquired an Rx for some Hydrocodone and Pseudoephedrine cough elixir.
The dosage is, per 5ml teaspoon, as follows; 5mg hydrocodone, 60mg pseudoephedrine.

That being said I have a rather high tolerance for hydrocodone, my normal dose for decent pain relief is 60mg, and for a buzz 120mg.

I've done as much research on pseudoephedrine as I can gather, and all I've really learned is that it's an Alpha & b2 receptor agonist increasing the response of adrenaline and noradrenaline in the body resulting vasoconstriction and hypertension, especially of the respiratory tract.

As you can see I would much prefer the dose in this preparation to be vice versa....

What I Really need to know is how much Pseudoephedrine can I safely take in 1 day?? How about 1 dose??The max daily recommended dose is 240mg which I have exceeded with little to no adverse effects in days prior.

I tested my BP 1 hour after taking 15ml (15mg hydrocodone, appx 180mg pseudo), and it was normal, only very slightly elevated, appx. 140/73, give or take a few points respectively.

So if I were to take 30ml (30mg hydro, 360mg PSE), would I go into a hypertensive crises or something of the sort???

Will the Hydrocodone help counter some of the vasoconstrictive/hypertensive effects??

Lastly, will Xanax help counter the same VC&Hypertension??

Of all the literally retarted questions here mine gets ignored. So much for harm reduction...more like intelligence reduction. Goddamn.....etc.

Half these goddamn junkies are asking common sense questions they are too lazy to google. I spent hours researching PSE and haven learned anything i didn already know.

Im trying to avoid harming myself with all this pseudoephedrine that the government accidentaly spilled a measley few grains of hydrocodone into.

The adult daily recommendation is no more that 8 30mg tablets in 24 hours. 360 sounds like an awful lot to me just to try and get the opiate buzz. Not my bag at all.

Well yeah but the adult daily recommendation for Adderall is like 60mg give or take...
I've seen people gobble down 150 in a sitting easy.

Oh and there is no way in HELLLL I could get a buzz of this stuff with all that PSE. Like I would have to take close to a gram, if not more, of the pse just for 90mg hydro.

I don't want a buzz.
I just need some pain relief.

It won't hurt you just make you uncomfortable in higher doses, unless you take crazy amounts, I'd just combine the most you can comfortably (titrating up) handle with other sedatives make sure you don't mix with caffiene or nicotine. You could take pseudoephrine everyday for a week or so to gain tolerance.

Thanks f33lgood, that's kinda what I was thinking.

I'd been taking 120mg tablets the week prior due to nasal congestion.

I've also stopped smoking cigs since I got this stuff due to the common knowledge smoking immediately raises your BP.

I've been mixing it with .5-1mg alprazolam, small amnt.s of caffeine (Coca-Cola, maybe 1 glass) to assist vasodilation, and weed.

Unfortunatley I was supposed to get more reefer today but some jackass threw a wrench and a half pound of bubblegum in the gears....and I smoked my last reefers last night so I hope the lack thereof doesn't affect my BP too bad, because that stuff is pretty much my BP med (even though I don't have high bp in general, I like my BP low and my veins dilated).

Anyways yeah I woke up with a headache after taking a total of 30ml yesterday in 2 separate doses.

Think i'm just gonna pour it down the sink and write hate mail to the drug czar..not like i'm wasting anything seeing as I don't cook or use meth.

Although if the hydro didn't get completely destroyed during the reaction you know that would be some fire ass meth.. Hydromethampfetacodone%)
