Flight MH370: Where the FUCK is that plane?

Seems the Americans are fairly sure it crashed into the sea just north of Australia now. According to Newsnight yesterday anyway (I only watch iPlayer so always a day behind with news). Surprised nobody's mentioned it or are they not as sure as the impression I got? Not claiming to actually have precise location (as in got pieces of it to show folk) I don't think but does seem unlikely they'd stick their neck out so far if they weren't pretty damn sure they were basically right.
 
Yup. That looks like the area that was mentioned - SW of Perth. Aside from being in a completely different place to anybody was thinking the rest of the suggested narrative appears to be broadly in line with what most seem to have settled - passengers all asphyxiated by flying high, then a mad dash to... just off Australia for reasons unknown. Does seem very odd. Why Australia (or general environs thereof)? Seems stupidly elaborate for a suicide thing. Perhaps intended to pull some kinda 9/11ish stunt on some Australian city? Is there some kinda bad blood between Malaysia (or certain sections thereof) and Australia?

*except how to manage our relations with the rest of the world, our economy, get along with ourselves, realize the "war on drugs" is an absolute failure, run a functioning economy, provide health care, deal with glaring income inequality, recognize that Putin is laughing in our face, have a sensible national media, have a good sense of humor and wit, not become obese dolts addicted to "reality TV", see outside the silly box is that is America, and just about everything else**

Edit- see, it was Australia, not America. Those bastards are worse than us! With those silly accents and safari ware....mighty suspicious. They've been meddling in, uh, Australia's affairs for far too long! This must stop!

The Aussies mistook it for a boatload of 'wog immigrants' and set about trying to sink it before it reached their shores.

Most of the things in your list could be thought of as successful working policy from an elite point of view - saying that, i agree the ominpotence of the american empire is overstated (often by americans), but not really by that much (how many military bases on other people's soil? how much more military spending than everyone else?). And they do know an awful lot about people, what with their satellites and nsa shenanigans (as do the uk elite, who are really the same elite).

According to Newsnight it was America "working closely with" Australia - a phrase I generally take to mean "telling 'em what to say" whenever I see it used.
 
These 'objects' in the sea, spotted by satellite, are, coincidentally, 24m big. The same size as the Chinese spotted last week. Which we were quickly told couldn't possibly be the plane because of their size. A week later and we're supposed to have forgotten this? Chinese objects were found to be 'not plane' pretty quickly.

And its handy they've been spotted in one of the roughest parts of any ocean in the world, thus hampering the 'search'.

At least the Chinese families complaints of "we're being lied to" were given more prominence today. Slightly.

The whole thing stinks.
 
Is it possible the plane was shot down by the AAF if trying to enter the air space? Especially given all comms lines were blocked on the plane (AFAIK).
