Cocaine Difference in quality cocaine's effects...why?

So I have done blow for 10 years every now and then...mainly years ago. I still dabble here and there when I am drunk, but I don't do it much because I do not like putting the stress on my heart and I now have anxiety issues so uppers are not my DOC. I usually only do it when it is fish-scale or when someone has a little and I am drunk. I used to thoroughly enjoy blow on its own...rarely drinking much (few beers). It was fishscale that smelled//tasted kinda like gasoline-ish ...hence why I figured it was referred to as rocket fuel. Sometimes though back then and moreso now, although it is still fish scale, soapy, cakey (but still breaks down to a fine powder)...that gasoline smell/taste is not there.

It is a different taste and pretty much doesn't smell as much. My friends and I refer to it as the "watermelon" taste. It doesn't really taste like watermelon, but I cant quite pinpoint a comparison. It is very strong..this is not "line" material. This is bump material. It just makes me feel quite tweaked out and heady which I do not like at all. It makes me not want to go out and makes me want to drink quite a bit to level out but that tweaky feeling doesnt really go away unless i stop with the blow. My friend who is also very seasoned agrees that it feels tweaky.

I read somewhere this is due to leftover alkaloids that lazy chemists leave in the product cuz it adds weight and they dont give a fuck. Is this the case, or would this taste/feel difference be due to cuts? These are two very distinct tastes that I have been able to taste in all quality blow for the past 10 years. As soon as I taste that watermelon I am like fuck...it will wake me up but can't over do it. That rocket fuel on the other hand...is why I used to enjoy blow. Anyone else know what I am talking about with these two taste/smells or have ideas on wtf the deal is? Always been curious...

Any cocaine enthusiasts with input? Not looking for what the cuts are, but just an idea of what might be the difference from those with experience. I know nobody can really speculate. I just figured since these same two differences (smell/taste) have always came up with ya0 that someone else might know what I'm talking about.

The petrol smell is generally a sign that the product hasn't been heavily stepped on since leaving South/Central America. Although a gasoline smell will indicate that the manufacturers are cutting corners instead of using hexanes or naphtha.

I can tell you that since the feds took down Guzman we are going to be entering a turbulent time for both the quality and supply of cocaine.

I don't use cocaine anymore since I'm from Boston by the time it gets here it's like 30% Levamisole, 30% baby laxative, 20% speed, 10% cocaine...

Thanks for the reply. Im in the midwest and although you definitely need to know where to look, there is still quality here. It was gone for many years, but back again although not cheap. I always preferred that gasoline smelling stuff as it tastes good and never made me feel tweaked out in the head like the other fish scale with the watermelon smell/taste. I didn't realize they were cutting it with speed these days...maybe thats what it is or some shitty RC. Greedy shitty dealers ruining the real drugs. It still looks and feels like fire fish scale...just doesn't feel smooth at all...makes me very anxious.

Have you ever considered an acetone wash? There are threads detailing the process on BL. Le Junk was a BL member who was an excellent source of information about all things regarding cocaine.

Pure cocaine will cause very little comedown with a clean high free from anxiety (unless you have an underlying anxiety disorder). The active cuts are fairly easy to elucidate.. I recall a night I was 'up' for several hours from 2 lines. The comedown was extremely harsh. The stuff looked like fire fishscale but upon further inspection it was more than likely cut with meth/ice.

Ya I have read about acetone wash, but I just don't do it enough to do that. Whatever is causing the edgy feel is that watermelon cut. I you sniffed a watermelon bubbalicous pack of gum...that's what te first few lines taste like. I do have anxiety issues, but the come down isn't too bad or long. Up quick down quick if you don't over so it with unnecessary monster. Face gets real hot and numb. It's just the high that is not normal any time I get something tasting like this...just tweaky feeling is all I can describe as. Not pleasant. Diff sources over the years, same memorable taste so I'm guessing it's a certain cut rather than alkaloids, but I guess it could be either. You mentioned levamisole as a cut. Wikipedia states that causes a restless anxious feeling...

I can speak for crack----cocaine made into freebase form where it can be vaporized and inhaled. I had crack shitty where as soon as I exhale I'm loading another hit. I had crack that made me way more paranoid than other times. I have had crack where one hit left me high, euphoric and sociable without the feigning feeling for 20mins, and never really had a comedown. Sure same applies in its Hcl form

I can speak from experience literally thousands of shots of coke. Coke...well in america depending on your source it gets stomped on. Cut with a lot of shit. Could be cutting it with something like mdpe 4-mec 4fa butylone meth who fucking knows. Its weird.. sometimes I would go months at a time having coke I considered great but it was not that "bell ringer" coke you could shoot 70mg of and have to run to the couch before you get hit with a freight train. I have no clue what was in it sometimes.

Noone can answer any question like this. It is pure speculation. The only way for you to know would be for you to have it lab tested. And i bet you'd be fucking surprised.

Its crazy how different the coke and dope game is over here. Dope comes overseas, gets sold at a high level, then gets milled into 10s of thousands of stamps in a batch and the stomping stops there. Its almost always very high purity and unlike coke and joe blow can walk onto the block blind and cop good dope. Coke, well that is a whole nother story.

The street level dudes almost NEVER I'm talking like 99 times out of 100 have coke comparable to the more expensive phone delivery invite only services. Its like sometimes you'd need 200bucks of street coke to equal 80 bucks from a delivery because its so fucking shit. Even the crack can be total garbage sometimes.

I can speak for crack because it is cocaine. Whenever I have crack that has the ether smell coming off of it and it looks like crystals
the blast leaves me euphoric , smoother cleaner high and rush with no anxiety or feign, usually 20mins I'm good. Then when I get the crack that is brittle and tastes like baking soda I feign out and want a hit before I even exhale. , fuck that

I doubt the big boys making coke in South America are doing it wrong or making mistakes. Its what they do, they arent some new wannabe meth cook startup. Other substances badly made, like meth sure but coke, i doubt it, the problem would have to be in the distribution channel and the cut etc.

It would also be surprising if coke was cut with active substances that made its effects worse. Inactive cut sure but adding other shit in doesn't make sense as a dealer, making your product worse. So shitty street coke should be shit because its less pure, i dont think its because of what else is in it. I know coke in lower dosages causes more negative symptoms.

Unless of course your not getting coke at all, but thats easy to tell, or your dealer is a retard and putting other shit in it even though that doesnt make business sense.

In the US, universities have a dealer per floor per complex. It is pretty ridiculous, honestly. And the problem is the shit passes through so many hands, you get this 'game of telephone' thing happening and the user ultimately has no idea what it is. There is such an easy solution to this, but that's an ancient and long-winded rant..

I used to get some shit I think might have been cut with caffeine or something. It made me all jittery, the nights ended badly, and I'd get a little queasy in the stomach if I did enough.
