In all seriousness though, heroin sucks as a drug very quickly. If you have the choice to walk away from it, RUN please. This is my advice. There are much better drugs out there to mess around with that I wish I could afford on a more consistent basis but heroin eats up too much of my money.
Heroin is boring and coke is fake.
If you're still "trying out" a bunch of substances, my advice is to stick to things psychedelics. LSD, MDMA, Mushrooms, Mescaline, DMT, (maybe ketamine). Those are really "the best" drugs and given the right settings, they blow heroin out of the water, even in terms of euphoria. The peak of rolling on MDMA feels better to me than my best heroin high.
Don't go crazy with RCs though. Stick to the classics I mentioned. I know heroin is often much more plentiful and available in NJ though, and it's relatively cheap per dose. It's the one drug that I can say without a doubt that I wish I had never tried.
If you MUST do some kind of powder drug where you cut out the lines and everything (I know, I love the ritual even though it's dumb) I suppose I would say to give a ketamine habit a go before getting a heroin habit.
If you MUST do some kind of opioid, check out kratom. PM me if you wanna know more about kratom if you never heard of it. It's also LEGAL. Yes, you can purchase a substance that is totally legal to possess that is an opioid and gives a feeling that is similar to heroin, but much closer to feeling like eating 4 or 5 vicodens/norcos.
The nature of all opioid drugs though, including kratom is how quick and easy it is to get into a habit of using it, and tolerance going up quickly as well. Soon the kratom won't be enough, and you'll need to get oxy to make you feel like you're on an opioid. Then the oxy won't be enough... etc etc.
If you can control your usage of heroin, then you can control your usage of all opioids, so just switch to kratom. And you don't have to break the law! I know that sometimes that's half the fun though. The whole process of "copping dope", copping in the hood, making connections can be just as addicting as the drug itself,
Also, you could be getting bad dope and that's why you're not feeling it. You don't have to worry about that with kratom, since it's (generally) the same everytime, and isn't full of cuts and shit.
So my advice is just to avoid the whole class of opioids if you like enjoying your drug usage and having money to spare! However, go with the kratom if you must do opiods, but remember that you can get hooked even on just kratom. Once you're hooked on ANY opioid, it's very dangerous to do them again in the future, ESPECIALLY heroin. But if you had to be dopesick, it would be better to be kratom dopesick than heroin dopesick.
