Ha, I saw that board game a few years ago and wanted it until I looked at the price, if I remember correctly, it's a pretty penny and I'm just floating by as it is. I know how you feel OP, I'm obsessed with films and especially documentaries that depict addicts/addiction and over the past year or so, I've watched like every free doc. that I could find online and any movie too. I saw "Requiem for a dream" for my 1st time a few months back, that's fucking amazing film that I'm really glad I found! Also, "The Basketball Diaries" is another great film, these are movies we need to be showing kids in school, I remember that generic drug talk by a cop, once he started saying marijuana was physically addictive and what not, I just figured he didn't know the true science behind drugs and just spit out propaganda to cause fear. That lame discussion VS seeing those kind of films, I feel like seeing it in a non bias way can really make more of an impact then just a talk. Yeah, some parts in those films are shocking, so are parts of addiction, then the kids are at least getting a visual of drug abuse and often, it's a true story too, that's even scarier to some 13 year old thinking about experimenting with pills or whatever IMO.
