Starting out with oral morphine?

My question is: I've heard people saying on a bluelight forum that taking morphene (spelling?) orally your first or first few times, that you won't get high, or more specifically, you won't experience euphoria. I'm wondering why that is?

I think those people just have no idea what they're talking about; perhaps they're familiar with underdosing, along the lines of how some people don't get high the first few times they smoke weed 'cos they're not doing it right.

I'll shoot this to BDD, tho.
 
First time I took morphine, it was orally, and I was absolutely floored. Wish I could go back in time and not take it.

I'm used to opioids like oxycodone. I've started experimenting with poppy seeds, no euphoria. And just ordered some poppy pods, had about 17 medium Turkish ovals, made tea out of 45 grams powder, nothing after two hours. So made slurry with white grapefruit juice with 20 more grams. I took Tagament an hour before to potentiate, and I'm not experiencing any euphoria at all. Just some Slight itching. When I took dilaudid before it also did nothing for me. I thought with all the raving I've heard about pods, and them being natural id really like it, but now it just seems like a waste of time, money and effort. So, I see why people have said they didn't feel any euphoria, I just don't understand why this is. I don't think I under dosed. I used to have a medium high opiate addiction and eventually went it the methadone program at 130ml/day, but I've been completely off for a year and a half and haven't done opiates since these last few times with pst and now ppt.

Morphime is very powerful even with its "horrible 30% oral BA" I'm a heavy opiate user, being in WD for 1 wk, 60,g mscontin had me too high...it may not be euphoric as u expected the first time, but it sure does grow to you. The only opiates I'll touch is methadone, morphine and fentanyl....when I was withdrawing from3subs a day, 120 was enuf for a buzz
