Stimulants Amphetamine comedown seriously exacerbating Fibromyalgia?

I started taking amphetamine - for the first time - this week. However, I have been taking caffeine for years and 180mg (spread in 3 doses) of Ephedrine a day for a few months, so I'm no stranger to "uppers".

I did probably 150mg amphetamine on Monday along with 480mg caffeine and 180mg ephedrine (Gradually, split over 6 hours or so)
Yesterday I took pretty much the same (with maybe closer to 100mg amphetamine)

I take a lot of medications, but the only ones that would be relevant are Sertraline (Zoloft), Methadone, Clonazepam and Alprazolam.

I woke up today (at 3pm instead of 9am :/) and all day long every muscle in my body is agony; my legs feel like I ran a marathon. I took 35mg amphetamine plus 240mg caffeine and 60mg ephedrine shortly after (just in case it is just stimulant-WD). It didn't help at all.

It's so bad I can barely walk unsupported. Does this sound like amphetamine withdrawal or am I just having a bad attack of fibromyalgia?

It's not withdrawal it's the crash, I feel like that after amphetamine binges but your fibericantspell probably ain't helping. Drop the ephedrine and caffiene... What are you doing...

I don't know if Fibromyalgia attacks are co-morbid with amphetamine withdrawal, but 150mg for the first time is definitely withdrawal worthy. Eat, sleep, shower, move around. You'll be fine. I would suggest lowering the dosage as well.

Apparently Kratom can help with Fibromyalgia, and I have felt it's benefit during comedowns. However, because of your meds you would need to go steady with it - at least to start with.

Dont think its a good idea taking amps and the other stuff with Fibromyalgia but i dont think it would directly make it worse it some way. Based on what you took I would say the comedown/hangover combined with the usual Fibromyalgia symptoms would make things feel a ton worse.

BTW if you have Fibromyalgia, have you tried Glutathione products like Immunocal, Lipoisomal Glutathione or other related Glutathione precursor whey protein products? I have done much research on these as a possible business and tested them myself and they can often be amazing in treating Fibromyalgia, autoimmune and many other type issues and symptoms.

I think Immunocal is the best product by far. When I was trying to find a white label or manufacturer for my online business i couldn't find anything that would come close to its benefit/dosage for price ratio, couldn't compete and therefore never proceeded with the business.

Just a suggestion.

You're using withdrawal wrong and it's pissing me off. It's the comedown/hangover.

^^ Correct. There is no withdrawal. Technically.

In fact I could go on a 4 day binge of high dose stupidity and if I got enough sleep on the last day when it was over (usually via Seroquel), I could wake up after that feeling totally great, normal, no issues, wouldnt even feel like i had reduced dopamine levels or feel anxious or depressed or anything.

Its amazing in that way. As long as you look after yourself and dont actually make yourself sick and get sleep at the end, there should be no drug related reason you should feel shit the following days.

In fact I used to have an afterglow of euphoria/moodflift effects for a few days after a long bringe which i think had something to do with using Seroquel too end the binge, but that occurred last year for a short while and not anymore, still not sure exactly what and what that happened but it was very much real.

I've never heard of them, but I will definitely look them up and give them a try or ask my Doctor about them. Can you take them with pain killers like Oxycodone and Lyrica (or muscle relaxants like Soma and Xanax)?

Thanks for the advice! :)

RE: My dosing. I know several people who have bought the same amphetamine from the same dealer and they all have only had good things to say about it...but if I'm taking 50mg 3xday with no tolerance and the effects aren't that extreme...could I have got a weak batch? Or is all street amphetamine pretty much the same? Or it could be that the chronic high-dose ephedrine (which is extremely similar to amphetamine, both in chemical structure and in effect) has given me a tolerance?

^ There is no way for us to know the purity of your amphetamine - it could range from 99% to 0.1%.

Amphetamines themselves will cause body aches from a combination of dehydration and muscle tension. Most people don't realize they are tensing up while on Amphetamines just as many don't know that they suffer from nighttime bruxism. I'd suggest not using Amphetamines if you have FM as it will likely - as you've learned - aggravate symptoms. Gabapentin & Lyrica are excellent for FM, but they, like most anything, do not come without their own vices.

I do notice my jaw is constantly involuntarily clamped and my eyes sometimes get kinda bulgy (when I'm on amphetamines). I do take Clonazepam and/or Xanax every night, though (and during the day if I have anxiety) which would stop night-time bruxism and relax the muscles. Plus I am on Soma 4 x day (back injury). I think you're right about the hyperactivity and strain on the body amphetamine causes exacerbates things. Weird, though as caffeine and ephedrine don't. Neither did Phentermine, Methylphendidate or Cocaine on the times I tried them.

Yes, all it does is increase glutathione levels by supplementing that directly or providing the precursors, since glutathione cannot be taken orally (unless its the lipsomial one). Immunocal works through supplying precursors through a special whey protein type product.

Basically glutathione is a natural brain chemical and has a major impact on the immune system and decreases with age which is why some say age related illnesses occur more often. Wont interact with anything as its more like taking a vitamin, not a drug. Ive read a ton of "miracle" stories around the products, and yes immunocal is often superscribed by doctors and covered by medical in the states if i rem correctly. Often used for cancer treatment as well.

Ive seen a few vids of a parkinsons patient go in for their daily injection and can hardly walk and comes out with zero symptoms, basically normal, for as long as the boost lasts of course. Supposedly helps with tons of different conditions and Fibro was one of the big ones.

Do some research to see what its all about. It initially seems like one of those fake marketing fad type things that dont work but i did a lot of research and it seems legit. The products at least, Immunocal. You can also research glutathione to see why you would want more of it.

Thanks for the aspie attack.

^^Agreed. Some people are so petty. Plus I'm an ex-alcohol and have 2 slipped discs in my back from a major withdrawal seizure. I've had 8 seizures, a heart attack (I'm 23) and around 15+ hospitalizations for severe alcohol withdrawal. Believe me I KNOW what withdrawal is. I didn't even use it incorrectly. A "comedown" IS minor withdrawal. Feeling major tired, shitty and depressed the day after doing uppers - that's mild withdrawal. My Doctor told me a hangover is technically just very mild alcohol withdrawal, regardless of whether the person has a "problem".
