CT dope

It's kind of like, you know exactly where it is, but nobody is willing to just sell it to whoever wanders through anymore...
 
Yeah, it is different. I've known families that moved around a lot and would set up or rotate trap houses in different parts of Hartford. You obviously had to know someone to know where they were gonna be. Once you did, it ran almost like a open air spot. People waiting to get served in front of a apartment door or whatever. They'd move a lot. Relatives house to relatives house or whatever. This was like 2-3 years ago, so maybe shit's changed.
There used to be one notorious street in Hartford that for years and years you could get dope or crack off of. You may still be able but you'd have to fuckin insane to try. Especially if you're white.
You guys are spot on about the other cities. Most my experience is in Waterbury and Bristol. Either town has reliable, pro delivery. To the guy that was saying he's copped in Waterbury but never NYC/NJ, quality isn't THAT different. Fire in Waterbury is really good in the city.
Waterbury or any of the other cities are like most cities. If you find the right street and the right looking people you can get served. But you might get robbed or you might get arrested. It's a crap shoot.
One other thing... If you're gonna cop on the street here or Hartford or anywhere, don't drive in a circle. Sounds like common sense but people still do it. I think it's something about if they don't know the area.
When I was real down and out a few years ago, me and my girl would serve a bunch of people she'd "found." Some of them were from out of town. Some were out of state. I didn't have a car at the time, so I'd have them bring me and drop me.
I didn't dawdle. It was the fuckin dope boy was like he was in slow motion. "Yeah, I got 10 minutes to wait for one B while you stir your rice a roni, sure." Fucking jerkoff. But he had good and it was cheap.
Anyhow, I'd tell people I'll go as fast as I can but be prepared to wait a few. DON'T park near here and DON'T drive in a circle. In a circle meaning don't circle around the same few blocks. Some people would listen, some would not.
Twice, I called people to pick me up, didn't get a answer, so walked out of the guys apartment with bundles "on my person," didn't see anyone, so walked a bit and both times the people I copped for were getting pulled over. Both times they were told something to the effect of, "We saw you making a circle. Only people looking for drugs do that 6 times."
Luckily, they didn't have anything and the police just hassled them and let them go. I got picked up way down the way and gave them their shit. But yeah. Could have been much, much worse.
And if you do get stopped by Hartford PD? "Yes sir, No sir" and stay calm. They are mean motherfuckers and they will smell your fear. MEAN. Happy hunting.
 
Ya Hartford is a trap for anyone trying to score dope who doesn't know there way. If you do get pulled over like 95land said stay calm and collected, and always have the same story if you have passengers. It's not hard to cop if you don't know anyone.....just gotta be the right time and place and know the right thing to say. Also if it seems sketchy it most likely is. FYI the dirty water has some fire going around right now.......real nice stuff, if you have a low tolly be careful.

Yes there is maybe not as big as them but I've experienced being called over by people who are outside dealing to whoever multiple times. In the summer I would go to downtown every day and get from whoever was dealing. There was multiple people clearly dealing that you could see. There's also another plsce that if you venture off the main road you will see groups of black dudes just standing there and they'll call you over if your white it happened to me just two weeks ago and I got a couple bags for the hell of it when I was buying needles...
They didn't just help me up they were clearly dealing I saw a few people get from them b4 me and after

I'm pretty sure I know which street you're talking about. They actually have cameras set up on that street and on a few of the parallel streets in that part of town now.

Lol it's funny because Hartford PD is usually the exact opposite unless you're obviously trying to buy drugs. Like being white in that city is a license to do whatever you want. I can't tell you how many times I've had a cop simply tell me to stop driving like a retard or had one just shake their head at me after burning out through a red light or something. Drinking a beer on the sidewalk they just tell you to hide it. They see some stupid white kid and that's all you are, you're the least of their problems. Unless of course you're in one of those parts of town waiting around for too long, or if you look sick as shit driving around in circles. Then you're a scumbag because you're there to buy drugs.

Downtown? Fuck that I never cop downtown. I've always gone up north or southwest-ish. A couple of times my friend had a dude that would have him meet downtown if he was on foot/ the bus, and once or twice we met a dude that was just outside of downtown, but never really wanted to go there. And yeah like I said before, I've been called upon before when guys have seen me waiting around and if you know what you're doing you can definitely find it but I wouldn't call it a real life open air scene. Yes though, the Jamaicans will stand around in their part of town but I don't fuck with that scene. Anyone sees you around there and you're as good as arrested, not to mention that these motherfuckers could just as easily rob you and not have to give you any drugs. And that's what I meant by "help you". I didn't mean like these guys are doing you a favor, I meant it as in a "I'm available to help the next customer" sort of help you

No word of a lie:

When I went away to rehab 3 summers ago in Penn, the rehab had a special program for medical and uniformed employees with substance abuse problems. They had special groups that they would have to attend, but aside from those, they were mixed in with everyone else.

My first few days there, my roomate was a Hartford cop in there for drinking, and I was in there kicking heroin, still sick! God, it made me nervous...It was awkward as hell!

IDK. A blanket statement doesn't really work either way. I can't say every Hartford cop is a prick. You can't really say Hartford cops are ok if you act right.
I've had a Hartford cop pull me over on another bad street and find needles in my car. He told me I was gonna kill myself with that shit, gave me some rehab info, handed me my kit back and sent me on my way.
I also had 4 Hartford cops pull me and my Hispanic girlfriend over, one screamed in my face, inquiring what I was doing here with this Spanish girl?.Another at one point threatened to throw me behind the car and give me a curby. At some point I started to shake some and they used that as justification for accusing me of all sorts of other shit and search the car. There was nothing. We were going to the store.
Another time, I stopped to talk to this guy I knew from the neighborhood that girl lived in. We were talking about his dog. Squad car pulled up, threw him against the car and the other accosted me as to what I was asking him about. I told him we knew each other and I stayed in the area. Got called a scumbag, told them I didn't do anything to get treated that way, got my face smashed against a brick building.
It's funny cause 98% of the time I've been in that godforsaken city, up to no good, I've been fine. It seemed to almost always be when I was just living my version of a life that I got hassled.
I'm glad you've had a better time with them. I can assure you that my hard time had very little to do with anything I was being stupid about. Living with a Spanish girl and knowing her neighbors, last I checked, is ok.

Yeah, I think we're thinking of the same street. Any person that's been around Hartford, you ask them what street they think if first when they think about drugs, it's this one.
 
Yeah I don't go down town anymore either I either go toward the west, the south side or the north now. One of the streets u can cold cop is up north...just when I first started I would go toward downtown
 
I have a clue as to what street it is, I have 3 different ones in my mind.

Also I deal with mostly Dominican/Rican dudes I know a few black dealers but I've had better experiences with Spanish dudes
 
Answer me this my fellow CT brothers...........why would someone go to the beat to cop and risk being arrested when they could go to waterbury and cop pretty much care free? A reason besides it's cheaper..
 
because Hartford is cheap and reliable, I've never been to Waterbuty (just thru it on 84) so I have absolutely no connect there. Also I have a lot of friends in hartford so I was hanging out there all the time even before I got into dope and I know the city real well (and actually like the city too). That and the biggest part, it takes me almost an hour to get to Waterbury where Hartford is a quick 15-20 minutes from my house- the exact same reason I don't get shit in New Haven anymore...



Also 95land- that goes back to what I was saying about the whole being white thing. Not saying I think it's right or anything but everyone knows Hartford cops are racist as fuck. When you got pulled over and he gave you back your gear you were probably alone, right? Whereas when you were hanging out with puerto ricans they threatened to stomp your head? That's exactly what I was talking about. I'm white and I hang out with white dudes in the south end. If I'm in a different neighborhood I just play lost. If I am buying shit I am so quick and efficient and I get the fuck out of there. I'm not hanging out with puerto ricans so I never get hassled. It's fucked up, but in their eyes that makes you a scumbag so yeah obviously they're gonna fuck with you.
 
^I hear ya. Yeah, you're right. I was alone. Didn't really think about it like that.
I suppose my mindset would remain that if I wanna fuck a Puerto Rican girl I'm gonna. Regardless of if it gets me hassled. But I get what you're saying. You go looking for trouble, right or wrong, it will find you.

I really prefer Waterbury. For a bunch of different reasons. Don't really hate Hartford. It was more the circumstances I had created for myself there.
 
I've never copped in Harford. For CT, I've only scored in Waterbury and every once in a while Danbury. I liked the scene in Waterbury. Good dope, good prices. I would actually see many of the same stamps I got in NYC, as a lot of the dealers their bring it up from the city and just sell it untouched.
 
^From the looks of the bags/bundles, it does appears that almost all the dope is Waterbury is funneled up from your area. It's always the smaller, stiffer stamp bags, bound with a plain band.
In Hartford I always kinda assumed that most of it came from there cause I don't believe I've ever been in another town where as many dealers used plastics, heat sealed sleeves on each bag.
