So i was talking with someone i work with, he told me he herd that a new study claimed that vD is an effective mass gainer.

Has anyone herd of this?

Apparently he gained roughly 30 pounds in the past 2 to 3 months, takeing vit D everymorning as well as nitrous oxide and eating healthy countinously all day.

I take 5000iu Vitamin D per day as I live in a rainy area and only see the sun about 3 months out of the year. It helps keep my energy levels up and helps me stave of winter depression.

I've read that it can have a positive effect on athletic performance but 20-30lbs in 2-3 months? Sounds more like "Vitamin Dianabol" to me.

Also, just for clarification, nitrous oxide is not something you take - rather, you supplement with compounds like Arginine AKG, Citrulline Malate, Ornithine, etc to help increase the amount of nitrous oxide produced from lifting. A lot of pre-workout supplements contain these compounds.

And finally, eating a healthy diet is the first start to putting on lean mass.

healthy D range is 50-100ng/ml

i reed 8000 iu D3 = +40ng/ml

now there is two things to consider

1. 8000iu= +40ng/ml thing is probably same as 2000 cal 60grams protein a day bs,its for girls or no lift 70kg joe,so u need more
2. sweetspot is probably around 100 not 50

that mean that I at 85kg,during winter get 20.000 IU a day

the more D3 = more test .......... remember Vitamin D aint no Vitamin, its hormone

Bollocks. Seriously he was taking some thing if he gained that in two months. Or he was eating like a horse, or both. I'm saying both.

Look your not gaining 20-30 pounds because your getting enough Vit D, and some NO not happening. Now if this was just 20-30 lbs in a month because he ate like a fat bastard and the mas sis like oh say 5lbs of muscle and 25lbs of fat yeah I'd buy that but that ain't what your trying to sell now is it? Look either the guy that is peddling this owns stock in a vitamin company or hes just a fraud.

DOB shut the hell up man please. Yes a lot of things effect hormone production including stress and your fucking my zen up chief.
