Hey guys i got my hands on about 3 grams of pure Sildenafil Citrate powder. I currently do not have a scale but i have a few questions..

Can i dissolve Sildenafil Citrate in water and use liquid measurement to get accurate dosages? If so how.
If i order a MG scale and weigh out 50 or 25 mgs per dose could i put it in a gelcap and ingest it and it would work like regular viagra pills?

Thanks guys i wouldn't want to OD on Viagra lol, i'm in no rush.
 
The saturated solubility of sildenafil citrate in different solvents at 25°C presented in Table III could be arranged in an ascending order as follows:

1.40 ± 0.17, 3.20 ± 0.11, 3.31 ± 0.22, 3.61 ± 0.25, 4.05 ± 0.23, 4.79 ± 0.40, and 6.89 ± 0.62 mg/ml for

10% citric acid, distilled water, propylene glycol, 10% ethanol in water, PEG 400, 50% PEG 400 in water, and 0.1 N HCl, respectively.

So in water you can fit 3.2mg into .11mL. So for 50mg water = x

3.2/.11 = 50/x

3.2x = 5.5

5.5/3.2 = x

1/72 mL = x

So 50mg dosages should fit into 2mL of water with no problem, assuming the slightly increased temperature from 44F to room temp will not decrease solubility. But id imagine since the body absorbs it at 98.6F, increased temp will increase solubility. It is a guess though

Thanks for the quick reply crashing! I'm not much of a chemist but that information does help, i'm thinking of splitting the grams and dissolving half in water. Or i could go the other route by weighing it on a mg scale and putting it into a gelatin capsule. I just would like to know, will it work fine in a gelatin capsule? or if the capsule can hold 150mg or so and i only put 50mg inside would it still work? would i need some filler?
 
Yes you can put 50mg into a cap that can hold 150mg.
Sugar is a good cheap filler but you don't even have to use a filler.

I wouldn't bother putting it in solution. Just invest in a mg. scale and use it to measure out your doses. It's not highly dangerous in low mg. doses, so missing the mark by a few mg.s isn't that big of a deal in this case.
