Personally would be far more worried about kidney damage from codeine/opiates than the odd pill if cwe not used etc to gain it.

kIDNEY DAMAGE FROM APAP ( Paracetamol) n Nurofen is far worse than opiates , in fact . Opiates are pretty benign in pure form . As i da said me fav , 2 r the H N MD
 
I had a codeine addiction n am on suboxone... of course I get judged for it even though it's form of harm reduction because I was OD on paracetamol before anyone mentions CWE my addiction would not allow it because of the idea of losing codeine... yea addiction fucks your head up as anyone who has had an addiction on here will know... so suboxone it was or death... lol so no judging please!

Hmmm yeah what Brimz said, opiates don't damage kidneys.

You did say "if cwe not used etc to gain it". Fair enough, but even then that's your liver that you need to be worrying about more than your kidneys, and opiates, including codeine, don't automatically come with toxic adulterants. I don't do CWEs, but I'm not putting my organs at risk because I get my opiates from poppy pods and my opioids as pure chemicals.
 
Eve I never judge. I have seen when you have been having a bad time referring to heroin users in quite derogatory terms. Now I am not having a go at you Eve so please do not think that is my intention at all.
But we all make choices to some degree. You have chosen to aim for sobriety and I applaud you for your decision which is obviously right for you. I made a choice to do drugs when and if I want them. I rarely do pills these days, I have never tried Heroin or crack as I think I would like them too much. I had a 10 year coke dependence. I still functioned got my Masters degree and and held a very good and well paid job in some authority for many years. What I am trying to say is people do make judgements based on their own experiences and often from media misinformation.

I know what drugs I like and I arm myself with as much information and research as I can before trying something new. I will not apologies for my drug use ever as it my body and my life. My chosen highs and lows. Many people are self medicating, i personally find the odd pill quite therapeutic! The only reason to be scared of pills is due to the random shit in the mix or being sold something that actually isn't MDMA.I am no paragon of drug taking virtue and do take risks but I go into that with my eyes wide open.;)

Sorry Knock. I apologies then I am misinformed. Always willing to be educated. I thought we were referring to codeine extracted from the likes of co-codamol etc. I have a thing about dialysis.. I wonder if Milk thistle really can assist in protection of liver? I take it anyway.

Well, Evey mentioned codeine, yes you and her were no doubt referring to extracted codeine, but I just like to spot and counter potential sources of error and I thought your post was such a potential source of error :)

While I've many-a-time confessed to being a BHM fan, this has got to be the stupidest post I've seen in a long time.

It's posts like this that really negate all the respect you accrue from other topics elsewhere in the forum. You exhibit many admirable posts then ruin all your credibility with nonsense like this.

I'm assuming serotonin-system has the maturity/sense not to take any of your post literally, as it happens he was giving an honest depiction of what he read (supported by many)... turning to physical threats because of his stated opinion is pain-stakingly puerile.

If you love Brimz that much, maybe constructively pointing out the fact his posts have not yielded favour by many in the forum and his expression of attitude could be altered somewhat. Could be a little more productive and get you more wanted brownie-points?
