February - Getting and staying clean/sober thread

Well, it is pushing 6 months now; 173 days to be exact. Still going strong with minimal cravings that are more like extremely transient twinges now.

Saw that Stardust.Hero has passed??? :( She was just a day behind in recovery with me from what I remember. Very sad.

It can be pretty terrifying, but once done, makes you feel so light, unburdened, maybe even carried! I was having a bad reaction, definitely had used too much, and I was kind of freaking out. I somehow managed to call her up, and said something like this: "Hi babe. Hey, I know you are probably really busy right now, but, I really need you right now. Do you think you can come over? I might sound crazy, and I don't want you to worry, but there's something I think I can talk to you about, and I want to talk to you about it." She came over, and listened to my problems, picked up some Mexican food, and stayed with me the whole time while I recovered. It was a bonding moment. It definitely tested our faith in each other.

No worries, she's still very much alive. The list on that message is just who contributed to the message and are some of the site's leaders.
 
Well it is confusing! Sorry to alarm everyone! I got worried! Maybe they should edit it to be "in memoriam of those who have passed" with the list of names not directly after that! "In Memoriam" with a list of names right after it makes it seem like those on the list are the ones who we are remembering.

I'm here :) no worries as you can see I have the title of "design staff" and the forums skin has changed to black. I've been working on design related projects that have taken up a bit of my BLing time. I'm listed in the memoriam because I participated in the design aspect of the Memorial black skin :).

Still right behind you munki, pushing 6 months as well for me :)

Stardust I noticed you had design on your title. I was trying to work out if it was new or something you'd always had. That's pretty amazing that you got to work on the design. Alasdair said it's to remember all those BL members who have passed. Great idea that is Evey xxxx

Having a pretty good day, man. Got some major stuff done. Been feeling TIRED as heck, but POSITIVE.

Going to watch Dave tonight. (Kevin Kline) -- just a damned good movie. My favorite scene is when he is getting loose, shaking it off, cracking his neck, and all that before he meets the Pres. Oh yeah. I'm doing it now. (getting loose)
