Do you fancy moderating this lovely forum? Now's your chance! Applications are once again being accepted for those interested in helping to moderate New Member Introductions.

Your duties as a moderator will be:

  • To be an active contributor to the forum, to build forum content, add discussion, and to provide level headed advice in regards to safety and harm reduction.
  • To check all forum threads for violations of BLUA and forum guidelines and enforce our rules.
  • To respond to reports on threads in NMI.
  • To edit, merge, & move threads to appropriate forums and modify posts as required.
  • Other general forum responsibilities.
  • To take part in wider discussions about bL and NMI's role.

Benefits include:

  • Full access to the staff nudie thread.
  • Additional inbox space.
  • A sense of god-like power.
  • If drugs become legal, you can put it on your resume!

Please PM your application to our current mods / senior staff: stellablue, Toucan, bronson, NeighborhoodThreat and alasdairm.

In your application it would be handy to note the following:

  • Your approximate location.
  • The amount of time you spend on bL each day.
  • Any particular interests you have being a moderator in New Member Introductions and what you feel you could bring to the forum as a moderator.
  • Any experiences or skills you have that would be of benefit to the forum.
  • Ideas for improvements and/or activities or threads to add to our forum.
  • Why you are interested in New Member Introductions.

Many thanks to muvolution for this write-up :)

Or is it a polite way of saying to those who applied we need a better selection than you lot :D

It's more a thing of needing to talk to the entire NMI team, and communications aren't as easy as I'd like at the moment. I can't say a ton more on that. If more applications do arrive during that time, all the better in my book. If they're 'better' than the ones already received or not, is a matter of opinion & analysis.

This is because of an added layer of security that's being added and adjusted on the forums. If you can try to send it again, and not close the error window, then add that information to the following thread: Report security warnings here. Within about 24 hours the settings will be adjusted and then it will work properly.

Alternatively, if you feel it urgent to get the application sent, report this post, and include your application as the reason for the report. I'll be able to get it that way.

Hope that helps.

Hiya - I made a thread in 'support,' not sure if I did the right thing. I have my laptop on as it's Saturday so have it up in another window (wow I miss using my laptop n multiple windows up when using iPhone). Shall I still do what you suggested or leave the thread in support as I don't want to put up the same message in different places n confuse people. sorry

EDIT: I tried your alternative solution of reporting post n the error came up really. Really terribly sorry, I feel like I'm being a right pain here.

EDITX2 I've gone with the first option. Thanks Bronson.
