Where does blackmarket PCP come from? (North america)

Where does street PCP come from?

Is it made in legitimate labs in places like China or India and then shipped oversees?

Is it made in Mexican superlabs like meth and smuggled in?

Is it made in clandestine labs in Canada or the USA?

Is it used in veterinary medicine like ketamine and then intercepted to go to the hands of street dealers in often run down neighborhoods?

Or is it like most "ecstasy" just a bunch or RC's mixed with easy to get industrial chemicals (like 3-MeO-PCP and formaldehyde), more a myth than a thing that's still around?

I know synth talk isn't allowed but is it easy to make?

If there's a thread like this already feel free to merge this thread. I'm just curious to the origins of todays PCP.
 
PCP is manufactured all around the world, it is however no where near as common in the USA like it was 20 years ago. PCP is manufactured in clandestine "labs" thousands of people have the Know-how to do it but it is just not popular anymore. Ketamine and MDMA have completely replaced the PCP world due to it's track record it's a little too powerful for many users. It was a pharmaceutical called Sernyl back in the 50's.
 
PCP is one of the mos commonly available drugs in my area. From what I know there are large manufacturing labs in Nevada and Northern Mexico, with a lot of it coming up the I-35 interstate in the center of the US.
 
Thanks for the replies.. Its definitely available in north America (with concentrations in Etobicoke ON, Victoria BC, Chicago, Compton, Dallas and parts of New Jersey and Florida)

The thing that's strange is although its available it seems to only be in pockets, and is an almost entirely lower class African American drug. It seems the only pockets of regular use are very downtrodden areas with black gangs.

Either its unheard of or its the scourge of the neighborhood/favorite of violent gangs it seems.

Hahaha it is true though, any major inner city is almost always littered with dat dust. I wonder if anyone has ever actually sold formaldehyde as PCP? You'd have to be pretty fucking dumb to not notice considering it's supposed to stink, or maybe if you bought into the whole idiotic myth about that. I'm fairly certain people have ingested it before for that purpose but haven't heard of it being sold to my knowledge.

PCP always had cool slang terms as well. It's pretty fun to randomly say "Fuck yes, let's get fucking wet!".

Also this thread reminded me of a picture of a clandestine PCP "lab" in someone's bathtub that was posted in the MDMA lab thread, was pretty cool.
 
Haha I had forgotten about that. All this PCP talk reminds of this women named Miriam on Intervention who smoked a shit load of PCP and would call it "Putting on her space boots!". I watched it super fucked with a friend and it was hilirious, she's a reverend or some shit and the best scene is when she smokes a PCP parsley joint then gets in her shower, then just scrubs the walls for an hour or so like a zombie whilst mumbling. Good shit!

This man is the Terence Mckenna of PCP, or to me, at least he sounds and looks a bit like him.
 
I live in New York and the only dust/ wet I've heard around was in late 2012 in Spanish Harlen..when the street crew call "Kings of dust got bigtime busted for 2 gallons of lab phencyclidine and like $75,000 in cash under America's RICO" stature. But besides that big bust of 32 guys ( they were also selling heroin and cocaine)... I have not heard of any other street dust around? And this is New York City I'm talking about here!! Not even in the South Bronx? I think New Jersey has some though. I have been looking for it continuously and I miss it and I love it And I can't wait to smoke some again!!!!!!! But I can't find it around??? but I know it must still be.......??

True story.....most of the PCP in the states is manufactured by the Bloods.....I shit you not. Read Micrograms, etc. Lot of it coming out of Los Angeles and then distributed.....I love the imagery

Edit- reaper, read the BLUA. No sourcing. And go across the river to Jersey. Very dusty over there!
 
Producing PCP is pretty much on the same level of difficulty as production of amphetamine or methamphetamine is. So if anything influenced the scarcity of its availability, it's the decrease in popularity. However, I'm far away from North America and the laws here are different here and there, so there might be some other factors coming into play.

i have only found pcp when dealing with low class drug users. i mostly used in a college town and it was no where to be found. but in the larger cities on i-35 it can be found, just gotta find those ghetto dealers and they will usually fuck you anyway

one of my favorite PCP/drug vids of all time.



a lot of the related vids (as well as this one) seem to be shot in (north) Philly, which has one of the biggest open air drug markets in the country.
 
Someone mentioned PCP being concentrated in Florida but I've never even seen it down here. At least in the Orlando/UCF area..I can see Panama City being a place for that kind of stuff though
 
Most PCP is produced domestically, its easy to synth and theres precursors to precursors to precursors. In the US, PCP is kind of like (nothing negative intended) "the black LSD" as after when PCP was a major drug in the 70s, primarily black subcultures hung onto PCP, just like bikers were associated with meth and hippies with LSD.

I hear its big in Canada too nowadays, but in the US the City of Angels is the city of angel dust too.
