Benzos effect on memory (long term use) and how to prevent with nootropics

I am a male stripper. I'm completely straight, so sometimes it's a little hard for me. I use a therapeutic dose of valium, sometimes a little more, never enough to be intoxicated and I am starting to notice my memory is slipping. I can't remember names right after people tell them to me (while OFF) the benzo. If someone asks me a question and I answer it and they ask me a similar question a few days later I'll answer it again and they will be like wtf you just told me that

Since starting, I lost my entire wallet, lost my keys multiple times, almost lost my passport, lose random shit on a regular basis...

for example my best friend asked me about my gf cheating on me and then a few days later he asked me if I was gonna get back with her and I gave him the EXACT same story as before

he was like wtf dude you just told me that three days ago

Similarly, a girl asked me what my job was. I told her I was a stripper. Today she asked me if I found a job (because I told her it was a temporary) and I said yeah, I'm a stripper and she said wtf you just told me that

Basically, my memory is getting zapped. There's not a lot of info on nootropics right now since they aren't patented but I know they are supposed to help prevent these sorts of damages

I have piracetam but I read piracetam negates the effects of benzos.

I read aniracetam might be a good choice, or oxiracetam.
Does anyone know? This is very important to me. I'm stripping to make enough money to be a real estate investor and invest in mutual funds as I didn't go to post secondary and I'm really not interested in being employed by any corporation or anything. I know the easiest answer is (don't take benzos) but it's a private mens club so it's basically an escort service. I have guys sucking my dick sometimes and stuff and it makes me uncomfortable because I'm completely straight so the benzos really help.

Does anyone know enough about which would be the best to protect from memory loss (I know some protect from Alzheimer's etc)

Please help.
First post, sorry if wrong section.

EDIT: it's so bad, I forgot my credit card pin number.

I use 5-10mg diazepam.
I know the obvious answer is to stop, but I dont even use it every work night just times I feel the edge needs to be taken off. Im 200lbs. You may be right, and taking drugs to solve drug problems is not a good solution but I'm very curious about the nootropics

Come to terms with your sexuality and maybe you wont need diazepam.

Just because you commit a homosexual act doesn't necessarily mean you're gay.

I never said he was gay.
He said "I have guys sucking my dick sometimes and stuff and it makes me uncomfortable because I'm completely straight so the benzos really help."

He's not psychologically dealing with his sexual activity, he's avoiding a personal examination of it and using diazepam to help him do so.

I understand what you guys are saying and why I could completely drop the benzos but is there any answer to my question regarding nootropics? I understand this is a harm reduction site. I don't like stripping for men. I don't like fat old men sucking my off and wanting me to cum in their mouth. It makes me uncomfortable at times because I dislike it. There is a method that I have found that reduces the amount it "bothers" me but I do not want it to cause anything that would damage me in the long run.

Could we please talk about if there are any nootropics for benzo/rec drug users that help with memory damage because that's what this thread is about. This thread is not about learning how to be OK with what I do. I'm 8 days into it and I will be OK with it eventually, but right now I need a little assistance...at times.

I'd like the rest of this thread to be discussing if there are nootropics that help improve memory damage from drug use, not what occurs at my job. It has nothing to do with my

Please and thank you.

Had I not mentioned my job I feel as though this thread would be filled with information on which nootropics would best support my memory issues. I mentioned my job and now everyone is giving me lessons to be comfortable with my sexuality, I dont feel that's very fair.

This thread is not about male stripping or having my penis sucked by a male. It's about what nootropics can prevent the potential damage benzos can do to your brain.

Can we please discuss that.
thank you

Sorry for triple posting but I'm not trying to come off as a rude guy or anyone who doesn't want to take advice...I'm just curious if anyone knows if there are nootropics that reverse the damage of benzos. Thank you.

None of them are going to reverse anything that benzos have done.
I've tried all of the racetams that you've mentioned and a couple of others and I never had much luck with them. I followed what many have said in threads and even other sites that were about nootropics. Maybe I'm hard headed, but they're just not for me. I wish they were for me, I really do. We are probably seeking them to do different things though, so they may be beneficial for you.

I would search around threads with preexisting information on nootropics while you wait for an answer that's more directed for you in this thread.

I've heard good things about the effects of piracetam for alcoholics in recovery. So it might just help for benzos too. Another suggestion maybe you could try a different type of benzo like clonazepam since diazepam is affecting your memory.

%) I don't think it's fair either and definitely off topic.:\ I wish I had an answer for you but I don't. Good Luck ;)

Thank you,

Not sure how to multiquote, but @Calderone I heard piracetam is bad for benzos because their effects of their NDMA receptors. I don't even know what this means....at all

@Santiq, thank you :)

They would probably just help you after you stopped but it sounds like lingering amnesia from the primary effects of the benzodiazepine. If you were off for a while it would probably go away. I don't think any bullshit nootropic will do more than give you a placebo. Your best bet is to do Adderall or Dexedrine during your off times if you can't handle dropping the benzos.

Are nootropics generally regarded as not working? The biggest issue is seem(ed) to very easily misplace things. After losing my entire wallet I've been extremely careful but I'm still double and triple checking multiple times a day as if I'm still forgetting. I haven't used since tuesday

Are you prescribed the valium? If so, talk to your doctor about whats happening. If not, go see a doctor anyway and be honest with him/her about your valium use. Maybe an A.D.D. med could be helpful. Google "nootropics" and read up. A good starting point might be https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nootropic . Maybe a vitamin regimen would be helpful, and you wont have to see a doctor for that.

Why don't you just take meth so you can actually enjoy the gay sex?

Nootropics won't reverse anything. In fact your memory slipping may be a blessing in disguise if you hate the job, you won't remember much of it. Start making better habits for yourself, put your wallet and keys on a chain (I lose them all the time, even without valium) and ask if you've told the story before, and tell them they can interrupt you if they want and you already told them. Stop having a lazy mind, remember where you put your stuff (although I do it too).
