Flipping: MDMA overpowering the psychedelic effect.

I've combined MDMA with mushrooms, DMT, LSD, 2C-B. Every time the MDMA overpowers the psychedelic, except when I did 525ug LSD with 175mg MDMA. It seems that the stimulation from the MDMA negates the psychedelia. Does anyone know why? Anyone else experience this? I love flipping when the psychedelic is stronger, otherwise it just feels like MDMA.
 
Same happened for me when I did shrooms + MDMA. I did like 3g of shrooms and about 1h after that i took 120mg of MDMA and it felt like it as soon as MDMA kicked in it removed the visuals from shrooms. 1 hour after that I took ~2g more of shrooms and 50mg of MDMA. It was very intense euphoria (more than just MDMA, very much), but not really visual. Still one of the best experiences ever.

I'm about to candyflip in the near future and i'm afraid this will happen again? I love the intense euphoria but I'd like a little psychedelia too.
 
My guess would be lower the dose *almost* dramatically. If you've ingested a moderate amount of psychedelics, and your average dose of MDMA would be 120mg, then I'd suggest 90mg. Usually 3/4 of the your usual dose of MDMA is plenty, if not slightly overwhelming.

But ever other time
I flipped I used between 50-90mg MDMA with moderate psychedelic doses. Still the stimulation overpowers it's annoying!

Maybe 50-90mg MDMA and a huge psychedelic dose? Anyone tried that?
 
I prefer 60 to 70 mg of MDMA with my LSD. For me this is the right dose to make sure the LSD is the dominant force in the combo, without the need for very high doses.

I also prefer to take the MDMA first, about an hour before taking the LSD. This also helps to emphasize the psychedelic aspect.

Maybe try a larger dose of your psychedelic and reduce the MDMA dose but only if you've tested the compounds to be sure they are the legit chemical. For me 12mg 2ci and around 95mg MDMA (+ 95mg top up 3 hours later) created a strong synergy although I definitely felt a heavy body load and over stimulation from the MDMA almost similar to what you're describing, but the psychedelia/visual aspect of the 2ci was still quite present. I guess its all about trial and error..and damn 525ug LSD is a huge dose lol
 
Weird, I have always had MDMA add to the total psychedelic effect, and the insane pupil dilation of MDMA and LSD together produces tracers from hell and insane visuals that make it impossible to see in front of you. Both times was around 300ug of LSD and 150-250mg MDMA. I have a fair amount of experience with this combo as well.
 
It's all about timing in my experience
MDMA usually pulls me straight out of a trip if I take it 4-5+ hours after the LSD, but if I take it at the same time it synergises perfectly
edit - usually about 500-600mcg LSD and 200mg MDMA for me
 
What it sounds like to me is that it's completely different for everyone. And looking back at my experiences it's been different every time. I would love to know why.
 
^ well LSD acts on a lot of receptors, esp 5ht neurons. And MDMA is a massive monoamine releaser , esp of 5ht so they interact somehow in their effects. I'm guessing this interaction is complex to begin with, then factor in personal tolerance/ idiosyncratic effects/ timing of dose/ total dose amount/ set and setting/ etc. so there is not really one explanation in the varying effects but it's more of a complex series of micro interactions. IMO of course ;)
 
I found MDMA to overpower LSD when the dosages were near 1mg/1mcg, like when I tried 100mcg LSD and 90mg MDMA. 150mcg LSD and 120mg MDMA was a psychedelic experience though. I'd say increase the dosage of the psychedelic and stay with whatever MDMA dosage you feel comfortable.
 
Gonna candyflip with 200µg of LSD and 120mg of MDMA. Will MDMA overpower the LSD?

when do you plan on taking the MDMA? if its in the later stages it will definitely overpower the trip. actually it might even overpower the trip during the peak. a rule of the thumb for candflipping is taking half of your normal dose of each substance.

also, unless you have a GC/MS, you dont know exactly how much LSD you have in your dose. its sad to see this happening more and more in this board as its a harm-reduction site.

Yes I don't know its exactly 200ug but approximately. Its definitely strong blotter, multiple people says that about this particular blotter. So how should i refer to the dose i'm taking?

I think i'll take MDMA 3-4hrs after the LSD
 
^ that's a good timing, I think right around 30min to 1h into the plateau is perfect for when to drop the MDMA. Make sure you have real LSD or at least know it isn't some research chem, it can interact badly with the MDMA ( rare but possible) more likely it will just be not nearly as awesome since the nbomes last around 1/2 as long as LSD. But if you got the real stuff, you should be good
