I see sub-forums listed on a number of forums. Do you know how the posting guidelines/FAQs are set up? As announcements, stickies, something else? I need to know where to look for them in the CP.

When I say sub-forums I just mean every forum in BL, like EADD is a sub-forum of BL. Sorry I could have been clearer about that.

As I remember it, the links were neither announcements nor stickies. I think they may have been stickies in the past, as I found an archived sticky, but it was out of date. Something else! Big font right at the very top of the index. But I can't remember exactly where. Possibly in the same area where the breadcrumbs are:

Forum Europe & Africa European & African Drug Discussion
Forum: European & African Drug Discussion
Social and drug discussion for Europe and Africa

I'm going to ask if someone has a screen capture of how it used to look, I don't have one.

I see support has an announcement for it's FAQ so maybe it was an announcement... but I really don't remember it being on a different colour than the page background. I suppose we can just go with an announcement anyway if need be. But I suspect someone will have a screen cap, so if it turns up I'll let you know.

I recieve pm's sporadically, sometimes days after being sent and I check my spam folder every day. Unless my email address decided to start ignoring notifications from BL and BL only something is sti wrong.
I haven't received a subscription email update since the overhaul.
 
Big fan of the new WISIWYG UI, good job guys and gals!
EDIT: Having said that, I have a strange glitch where, in the new full WISIWYG format, if I include italic text, then hit backspace, the cursor jumps back to the formatted text, and deletes the last character of that, rather than the last character typed. Anyone else able to replicate this?

Yeah sorry, should have said, Windows 7 and Chrome 32.0.1700.76. Just testing again, and it seems to be consistent. I also just hit backspace whilst still typing in italic, and the cursor jumped back to the first character of the formatted section. Couldn't even replicate that myself a second time. I can definitely live with it, but it's a little funky.
 
Edit and quote do not work

Hi.

Whenever I edit my post or klick on the quote button, nothing happens except for my mousepointer that will change to a waiting symbol.

Do other people experience this problem?
Solutions?

Browser is chromium.

btw: reply does not work, too. Same thing.
The only thing that works that I can even write here is using "quick reply".
It's annoying.

This was a known issue for a short time while the site transitioned from one server to another. However that is now resolved for almost all of our users so far as I'm aware.

A couple things could be causing this... I'd start by dumping your cache and running your browser with all add-ons / extensions disabled. Should this correct the issue, something on your end of the configuration is causing the error.

ok bad.
Right after login, i managed to do the above without a problem. (actually i clicked on "quote" and was then promted to login and after login, i was in the editor with a quote of your post as I'd expect)..
However now. can't edit, can't reply, can't quote...

cleared browser history "from the beginning of time" with all entries checked
 
Okay, thanks for checking. I'm going to pass this over to the thread where our director of IT will see it, so it can be determined if it's related to the new server.

Still getting this... I can live with it, but it's still doing it.
