Dutch artist Diddo sculpts life-size human skull from cocaine

Inspired by crackheads, he sculpts a literal crackhead. I fukkin love it.

That must be a shit ton of coke.....

The sculpture wouldn't last long in my hands...LOL!

Yeah, it's a new one on me, and nonexistent where I am. But 40 to 70 quid a gram? Shit, that's cocaine money; if I was gonna spend that on this stuff it'd have to be something really special.

At 15-20% coke, you could hardly call that skull cocaine, and this guys Dutch...he must've got burned badly; the best coke I ever used was in the 'dam.
 
It's sort of like Damian Hirst's jewel-encrusted skull, isn't it? Or K Foundations board with a million quid nailed to it? An idea that was once interesting, about the value of something as a work of art versus the value of the commodity of which the work is composed, but the exploitation of which necessitates the destruction of the art? Sort of been done to death, if you ask me.
 
All he needs is some legs, soon he'd be snatching shit, running wild, and giving back alley blowies. Set him free!!
 
Exactly what I was thinking; it's been done before. Tbh I can see no artistic merit in this piece whatsoever-it's just shock art IMHO

Also, good luck selling the damn thing...(I wonder if "it's not cocaine, it's art" would work as a legal defence?

No extract of anything is 100% pure, but shatter comes pretty damn close when made correctly(upper 90s % ). The highest quality is the amberish/reddish color, not the yellowish. Yellow waxy color is actually a substantially lower purity than the amberish/reddish color. When it hardens is almost like glass, it will bend if heated up even slightly but otherwise it "shatters" into flakes.

Again, just for the record, yellow wax/oil/ "shatter" (not shatter if it's yellow.) whatever type it is, yellow is never as good as amberish/redish. How translucent it is simply depends on how thin it's pressed, the thinner it's pressed before cooling the more see through it will be. If it's amber/redish colored then it's not impurities if it's less see through, it's just a thicker chunk. Shit is almost black when it's thin enough, but pressed out thin it turns red/amber and translucent. THC, is redish amberish. ;)
 
I've smoked pure noids before using them in "incense" blends, and something around 90% the strength of pure thc sounds a bit strong for my taste. (Anyway, I'm getting some beautiful hydro misty at "family" prices right now).
