Stimulants Adderall causing bruising? Worried.

I provided my friend with 4 Adderall XR 25mg for the days leading up to her exam.
(i don't like giving them to anyone under any circumstances and wouldn't have under normal circumstances)

Of course, being the worried person I am I've been checking in on her since she started them, she's experienced next to no appetite, trouble sleeping and she's really thirsty. "Normal" adderall things.

But rather concerningly, when I checked in with her tonight, she told me that it seems that she is bruising a lot easier then normal and has found bruises on both her arms. (She sent me pictures......theyre not small bruises, but they're not very large either)

Of course I'm really freaked out, cause I've been taking adderall for years and never experienced anything like this, so I'm worried their is something wrong.

What I'm hoping is that the bruising is somewhat caused by her barely eating.
Does this make sense to anyone?

Has anyone experienced this?
Does anyone know why this is happening?

Im just really worried that she's going to end up with health issues because of my stupidness.

Anything you can comment would be greatly appreciated!

She could have an underlining issue that the vasoconstriction caused by the Adderall is exacerbating. She might be anemic, low blood iron, different hemoglobin per liter in her blood many things are possible... She must be more careful while speeding and I am sure she was quite spun, being it most likely her first time... You are doing the right thing making sure she's ok since you are the one who decided to dose her... She should recover from the bruises naturally, if not than I would seek a doctor.

Neversickanymore, I have never seen that before linked with Amphetamine, interesting.... Well thank god I haven't had the issue, doesn't mean our friends friend over here hasn't... Like I said in my previous post if they get worse or don't go away please go see a DOCTOR, there is only so much we are able to do on bluelight.

Great News!

Just talked with her, she's no longer bruising and the ones she had are healing.

Thanks for everyone's help!

As far as urticaria, seems interesting. I'll look into it when I'm finished work today

Yeah I saw it on a few places.. but i think that hives would likely be a common side effect for many medications.

Allergic:

"Urticaria, rash, hypersensitivity reactions including angioedema and anaphylaxis. Serious skin rashes, including Stevens Johnson Syndrome and toxic epidermal necrolysis have been reported."

This one is really really rare but so damn awful "toxic epidermal necrolysis"
these pictures are really kinda graphic so just be aware. >picks<
