Jobseeker's Allowance Megathread ver. The Jeremy Kyle Fan Club

Have you not got any agencies in your town, I only live in a small town and we have quite a few.
Some are more geared up for manual, factory work and others for office type work.
 
You could always go on the governments Universal Jobmatch website. Not that you would have a cat in hells chance of getting a job from there.
It's fucking useless!

thers hundreds of them, thats the problem that i dunno wher to start, i guess do them all one by one, go in try to be confident, polite and pleasant (that will take some doing) and give them a tailored CV.
 
Going around the agencies with your CV might be your best bet mate. If any jobs come in that you are suitable for then hopefully they would give you a call.
With agency work though you have to be prepared to go and work at short notice and you can't guarantee how many hours work you will get each week, which can fuck about with your benefit money.
 
Yeah hopefully it wont be pissing down with a force 10 hurricane on Monday, and I'll make a start on that. I could print out some CVs today and tomorrow. I have yet to work out whether its cheaper to get them printed out at a place that offers thosee services at 5p per sheet, or do do it yourself where the ink cartridges cost around £25 and sont seem to last long at all.
 
I don't want to freak anyone out if they haven't yet seen this for themselves but all i hear now when i see Cameron etal ranting is 'This is Sparta'... They're picking off what they see as the weak in my humble opinion.
 
That seems to be their plan NE. Blame the unemployed for unemployment.If every job that's available was filled tmrw then there would still be 2 million people left unemployed.
 
I don't think that things will improve if Labour get back in either as they also want to cut benefits for the under 25's.
I'm way past that age so won't affect me but how on earth young people are gonna be able to leave home without a job is beyond me.
 
Christ I'm sick of this BS what about all the immigrants that come into the country - take our jobs n benefits then we get scape goated like the jews in Nazi Germany. Winds me up something rotton. I literally dispise the Tories with EVERY breathe in my body. They're not a clue what's it's like to be us with their posh suits, their posh cars etc etc. they can seriously get fucked.

I can't think of a single pill that's remotely like a gas chamber really. Unless Zyklon B has suddenly fallen into favour with the NHS, that is...
