So for my 50th post I have a question.
I'm going to a movie soon. I have gotten extremely stoned on pot, took a ton of good kratom, and 8mg of clonazepam.
I have a weird tolerance, it relaxes me but doesn't make me tired. Well for the movie, should I, or should I not bring a flask to the viewing?

Ps. Do you think my girl will notice?

Sorry, what exactly are these dangers, cause I haven't heard any worth worrying about in the past two years. But still, I'd like to know if there's something I haven't heard...

Nearly all benzo overdose deaths have something to do with alcohol. Mixing alcohol with benzos and opioids (yes, kratom is an opioid) is a great way to tempt fate. Mixing alcohol and benzos is a great way to black out.

Don't add alcohol to that mix. Its not safe and its not worth the risk.

You can black out and stop breathing (or aspirate vomit), or at the very least get very sick if you take too many opioids/benzos with alcohol. So it's probably best to leave it.

Thanks NH, that's good to know, I read a lot but not all of it sticks.
I will not bring it tonight.

That's why I love this site.

Yeah EVERYTIME I've ever mixed any benzo and alcohol I blacked out to the point I did some ridiculous shit. Not to say you can't mix them safely its just not worth the risk. Good call not bringing em.

at therapeutic doses ie. what a Good practitioner would prescribe per day it is safe ime to add a drink maybe 2. That is baseline recreational drug use for myself. After that its looking like drug abuse.

OP, what movie did you see?

You may feel that it would be safe for you but for someone who has no or low tolerance for benzos, even a therapeutic dose plus alcohol can be very dangerous.

I agree that mixing alcohol and benzos is not a good idea.

As far as a flask in a movie theater. I have done it and always gotten away with it. Of course you gf is going to notice and smell it. I dunno how you could drink next to someone and not have them notice.

I never got caught drinking in a theater but I imagine that the movie theater would not appreciate it. They might call the law and you could get hit with public intoxication.

Also it could be an open container charge if you drive with the flask in your car and if your driving it could get you a DUI charge.
