I hate waiting for the postman.

orderd something from china and when i check its progress on the tracker its last status was "opening" which was over 2 weeks ago. Still no other updates from then. whaaaaat!?
 
i recently ordered some modafinil and pregabalin from an indian pharmacy. The pregabalin came through fine, but instead of the modafinil i got a note from the post office saying i owe them £15: £8 in VAT and £7 in fines as the company didnt put enough postage on it. This happened yesterday and i was fuming with them, i dont understand why ive twice been charged VAT, ive made these orders dozens of times and not been charged that, this is the first time ive been charged for the company not paying enough postage. If i word my email of complaint properly i should be able to get some credit off my next order from them. Maybe it just depends if some jobsworth gets hold of the package somehwere in transit.
 
So, here I am, still waiting for my shit since Dec. 5.

I ordered 3,4 ctmp, bk 2c-b, and 6-eapb, none of them are illegal in Canada and it's almost a month and a half I have been waiting.

I am even checking the snow banks thinking my mail blew out of the mailbox or something.
Can Canada Customs seize legal substances?
Is Health Canada testing my stuff?

My package weighs less than 30 grams, therefore they are not allowed to open it without my permission, I have not received any info from Customs, tracking says they still have my shit.
Is my package late because I ordered it in December? (Christmas rush)

Next time my eggs go into separate baskets! :(
 
I have no idea about how it is in Canada but I suspect if any postal service came across a package containing baggies of white powder they'd seize it on the offchance and worry about the legalities later. Perhaps the package was damaged during transit so the contents were visible when it reached customs? No idea - just a possible possibilty. Perhaps. Although I'd've thought you'dve receieve a "love letter" from customs by now if that were the case. I wouldn't have my hopes up for ever receiving it now legal or otherwise, unfortunately. If it ever does turn up consider it a bonus, I guess :\

In UK post news, is it just me or has it gone to shit this last couple months? :!
 
Same here, stuff shipped on the 27th of December, never made it on the local post online tracking, usually I can track it in the country within a few days.

Sure it was either stolen or lost rather than seized, our postal service is extremely incompetent, especially around christmas.

Anyway the vendor said I'm entitled to a re-shipment.
 
Yeah post (except SD) has gone to shit Sham. 3 days for 2nd class if you're lucky. I got a recorded signed for from Leeds that took that long.
 
My post is fine, if there are any delays... it's normally the company you bough it off

I kinda shied away from saying it initially cos it's very much "Well you would say that" territory, but I can't help noticing the sudden drop in postal service quality seems to coincide - almost to the day - with it being privatised. It can't really be the case surely (has anything actually changed "at the chalkface" yet?) but does seem to bode badly for the future. Not just "nice" post being slow and shite either - it's all gone to shit :\
 
Well, we have stuff going on with our postal service too, higher prices (on top of already high prices for postage) and less service, they are cutting out door to door delivery.

I am getting tired of finding I've waited yet another day and no mail for me.

Is there no way that (short of calling them, sure) I can find out if customs is backlogged?

The optimist in me says that it's still in a bin waiting for it's turn to make it through the Christmas parcel and mail backlog.
Do most RC vendors re-send in my circumstance?
 
I always blame MM.

Met my new postie properly this morning. Nice bloke, had to sign for stuff but he said next time if it's just small he'll sign for it and stick it through the letter box, which was lovely of him. Old postie used to do that for us. Need to designate somewhere for them to dump stuff when I'm not here too, not really got anywhere tho and don't know or trust my neighbours.
 
My post has been reeeally slow lately, and that's just random bits of clothes that I've bought on ebay. I blame MM too.
 
One good thing about waiting for drugs to arrive in the post is that you don't have to spend hours waiting on various street corners for dealers that keep saying they will be there in 5 minutes.
I think heroin addicts learn to be very patient after spending lots of time hanging about waiting for dealers to turn up.
 
Not long before Xmas I received a letter from the DWP that had taken 6 days to get to me. I think that it was sent second class but it took away the time in which I had to get a reply back to them.
Our postie always used to arrive between 10 and 11am now he sometimes doesn't show up until nearly 2pm.
