I saw them with the new singer about 3-4 years ago at Terminal 5. I was decked out in my grunge attire and of course brought some dope with me for good measure. Unfortunately two of the people I went with ruined the vibe since they work in the city at jobs that their daddies got for them and so they showed up to the concert in their suits straight from work, and instead of being on the ground floor they wanted to stay up on the balcony at one of the bars, going round for round with the drinks. I backed out after the second round as they were $40 each between the 4 of us, and my other friend who is more down to earth from them admitted to me that it was a mistake to go with them, and he would never do that again.

My favorite part of the night though was when we ditched them and 'Rooster' came on and I saw some dudes spark up a joint and asked to get down on a few hits since it would be my only time seeing AIC and how often do you get the chance to smoke up at a concert like that, so I got my two hits on top of my opiate buzz and it was amazing. That at least redeemed some of the things from my night. Seriously though, wearing a suit and paying for overpriced drinks up on the balcony at a venue like that goes against everything 'grunge' so I was happy to ditch those guys. On top of that I ended up emptying what little amount was left in my bank account on the tickets that I thought I was getting for free but my friend later told me his girl wanted what she paid for the tickets so that caught me off-guard. Then when we got to Penn Station my friend was wasted and went up to some homeless guy there and started telling him how pathetic he was so that got me a little ticked off since I knew that with my habit I could end up there too, and low and behold I did end up on the streets but at least not living in Penn Station at night.

Yeah I can't stand the new singer/new material. It's such a bummer.
 
As a fellow 'grunge'r'' god, I hate that word. I'd usually be like "Awesomeee dudeee" but since it was the new singer that you saw, meh.. that's a bummer.
 
Layne Stanley was the man. It is hard to replace such an iconic member if a band. Take AC/DC Brian Johnson has done a great job but he is no Bon Scott. It's more like an AIC tribute band now. I would still like to see them but hopefully they are opening for someone else I really want to see.

You know.. never hand over any money until you atleast see the product or have it in your hand..
I haven't been beat in forever... and all I do is follow the very basic rule ^

I don't think opiates will kill me. When I started this game 5 years ago I thought I would live maybe 6 months a year tops. Yeah no such luck. I also have gotten to experience pain that I couldn't even imagine when this started. Done things I never thought I would. An old head told me something to the effect "The lucky ones died the rest of us are doomed to suffer". Its fucking true.

What happened was I waited on the corner while he walked around the corner to get the shit and he called me to come around and pick him up when I came around he was gone and his phone was off. I've done shit like that with other friends countless times...I didn't think anything of it a lot of dealers I know make me park at a certain place then walk over and I've gone out with friends where they parked I walked over and I called them to come around the corner and get me. He had someone else come pick him up real quick or something. I'm trying to find the kid but he's scared of me and won't face me I know where he lives but if I go to his house his crazy fucking mom will call the cops instantly. I'm so fucking pissed off i mean I still have another $260 but that's not enough to last me the week till the upcoming Saturday. Like I'm not stupid, what we did I do almost every time I go up with friends or some 1brings me up and I go get it it's the normal process unless we go to the persons house or they park right behind u but a lot if the times one of us will just get out if the car and walk around the corner grab it and either run back or get picked up.

When you say "I've done this countless times" do you mean ripping off your friends?

Yeah, fuck letting somebody else score fore me. I want the money to be in my hands at all times, right up until the immediate exchange for the dope. And even then, I want to be able to know I can find the guy before I make a purchase in case it's bunk so I can show up at his house with a baseball bat while he's sleeping.
 
That is one of the benifits of getting your shit fronted. I hope the dealer is smart enough to know that if he gives me bunk shit then I might just take my time paying or pay in pesos or some shit.
 
When I say I've done this countless times I mean the process of oarking somewhere then walking around the corner to cop I've never ripped off my friends. I got ripped off

I was thinking the same thing too but didn't know if Boston stuff was different like that with what they cut it with or something. Off-white / beige is all you really see around here, with darker brown being less common but not unheard of, and any of those colors can vary in quality so no way to tell. But I have to agree that I've never gotten good stuff that's the color of the stuff in that pic.

I usually do but sometimes I go with my closer friends and one of us will go get it while the other waits and the car so we can leave ASAP and we don't beat each other. We were going to his guy cus he was supposed to have good shit and I didn't have his number so I couldn't go myself. The only good outcome was I got the number to his guy and went to him myself today and he had better shit than my main dealer , I'm trying to look at the bright side but I wanna fuck this kid up I'm pissed off we were supposed to be boys
 
Bluehues, I know what you mean about the color thing.. Not that it's always true, but when I get white-milky draw ups it's usually pretty shit.
