Alternative Stag-Do ideas

I swear that I just replied to this thread. But now I can't see my post...

Yep, Beat-Herder always has amazing things said about it, so if you're all festivally-inclined it could be a good bet.

(And, I think the budget version of zombies is 2.8hourslater.co.uk. Would make for a fun EADD meetup, certainly.. :D)

what does he like to do? what would be appropriate activities to make his day a day to remember?

the 2 or 3 times ive heard about such things they have failed to happen for various reasons. I believe some of them have actually happened. But getting a bunch of drug users organised and coordinated seems to be virtually impossible. Went you went AWOL for months a while ago, people were talking about visiting you for weeks and weeks but i dont think it happened. Now I know where you live (if you havent moved yet) I'd drive there myself and see you in about 3 hours ! What was so difficult about that i dont know.
 
I know, and various people have tried so hard to arrange various meetups.. we could just organise some zombies instead and write various EADDer names on them? I'm determined to meet at least one EADDer this year, though. :sus:

Well, I was one of those people talking about visiting Shambles. It's more than 3 hours from here. It's more like 8 hours each way. It's a knackering drive, I've done quite a lot of long distance driving, and I know some people drive for a living, but my neck gives me a lot of pain when I'm driving so I don't look forward to long drives. My arse hurts too. Also I have a cat that needs looked after and the person who was supposed to take her, my ex girlfriend, who bought the fucking cat for me for my birthday, did not live up to her promise. My cat does not like travelling in a car, she vomits at about the 40 minute mark, and has been known to have a fit after a particularly long drive, so taking her to my parents is not a great option either. Finally, my car was needing an MOT and service. I've now been done by the busies for not having an MOT :) I'm not sure how much of this comes down to being a useless druggy, some of it maybe, but not all of it =D
 
has anyone suggested having a hen party?

just go out somewhere and get pissed doesn't matter where. or if you want something differnet. stay in and play scrabble and stay completely sober or go to the zoo or something or the opera or the ballet and shout out "get yer tits oot fir the lads"

I live approximately 2.5 hours from Shammy. Sometimes it just not good form to turn up on someone's doorstep when you are uninvited and haven't heard from them in months. People like their privacy. There is nothing too difficult in me driving to Shammys. Diplomacy comes into it too.
 
i live across europe from most ppl here. not that im that interesting to meet anyway. some day though, perhaps...

at the OP, whats wrong with coke and strippers?

yeah i know, i wouldnt dream of turning up anywhere un-ininvited normally, especially to someones gaff whome ive never met, but as that situation was causing a bit of concern i think the normal conventions could have been offset a bit by that, sure i understand it may have been unwelcome and awkward, but the main idea seemed to be just to see if he was OK ?

Knock, yeah you had a whole days drive, thats not so easy.

is english your second language ? I would never have guessed if that is the case, you can normally tell even if someone's english is excellent when it's not their first language.
 
lol, yet you still want to meet some of us. :p

Just kidding, i know how you have to keep aspects of your life in different compartments sort of thing. I bet you'd be surprised though, as in many people on this place you probably wouldnt look at them and automatically think "druggie" unless they were on something at the time.
 
I said I want to meet you; I didn't say you were all welcome round for dinner. :p

I wouldn't be that surprised, though. I have a theory that most people are secretly druggies and it's just the stigma thing that means they keep quiet about it. Maybe.
