Opioids How acknowledged is the relation between opiates and libido?

Do they ever work positively for low libido (probably not, but could there be cases?) or is it always regarded as a libido killer?
 
I think the thing with opiates is they make you content with the way things are. While sex can be enjoyable on opiates, I just can not be bothered getting out of my seat and moving. Also, I find it impossible to cum. Like.. I could fuck for hours and get riiiiight to the brink, but never cum.
 
Well, there must be some hormone-level explanation to this as well...
I literally find no interest in anything while I'm on them... but at the same time can enjoy anything (as to sex... it's kinda crazy so I'll save that from you)
Well, the same I can say about some specific benzos, but not the same feeling at all... and not as enjoyable as having a painkiller in me...
 
I find my dick literally dissapears when in Withdrawal. And they can be very aphrodisiac depends on the person/dose and IMO especially gender.

I was going to write this same thing basically, but on a completely different subject. Opiates do make you just content with whatever is going on. If you got a gf there and she wants to have sex, then you will cause its right there. But if it involves putting a whole lot of effort into going out and finding a girl to get laid. So its kind of like if you go into a run on opiates with a gf then of course your getting laid, but if not then you will unlikely have the desire to find a girl while high, unless it kind of falls into your lap. Seeing as you are too content regardless of your life situation.

I actually was going to write this about someone who said productivity and creativity are enhances by opiates (specifically heroin). Well no, they are not, but you won't be beating yourself up from lacking in those 2 areas if you are getting high all the time, same as you won't beat yourself up over not having a girl.
 
Oh the joys of nodding out while eating some pussy! Sadly the GF didn't agree and we separated.

From a male point of view I can concur it does fuck with your sex drive.

Any females care to share? Curious if the effects are similar
