Have i overdosed on heroin?

Sorry if this is a stupid question or in wrong forum, but i HAVE TO KNOW.
There have been several times in a close in the street after purchasing i have injected in these closes (a kind of building leading to flats or small apartments) i cooked up the shot, tapped into a vein, injected the lot proceded to cleaning up my shit, and awoke to a scared looking women an her child lookin at me in despair. I immediatly grabbed my works, and ran the hell out of there, thinking the police would be on my tail. The second time same story different setting but my bathroom and i have no memory of the shot. Just awoke to a half finished needle in my arm. But i had no headache, or vomiting i still felt high. Did i just nod out? Wtf happened to me?
 
If you are nodding out that hard on a half finished needle then if you dont figure out the correct dosage you will likely be dead soon. Please always shoot with someone else and please find a much safer spot as if you dont die you will likely get robbed or worse. Best wishes.

This. Getting that high and passing out is definitely a form of OD'ing. One of those times, you're not going to come out of it by yourself, and if somebody isn't there with narcan, you're going to die. Simple as that.

Are you incapable of dosing out a shot that won't get you that ridiculously high? How is it even enjoyable if you just pass out for your whole high..?

You're walking on thin ice man. You're going to be found blue lipped, bloated, with puke stuck to your face, in an alleyway if you don't get your shit together.
 
Only happened a couple of times, not defending my actions it was stupid yeah and i got particularly stronger stuff then what i was used to, i didnt even realise till i awoke on the floor. Now i inject alot slower over 5 mins instead of 60 seconds. Thank you for your replies

Totally agree with neversickanymore and Mr Scagnattie on both the location of abuse and the amount that you're taking. It's not good but I'm sure you know that by now.

Just take it easy in future, especially when you're changing dealers or your gear looks different.
 
And sorry for double post but this was past actions, i am now on the straight and narrow. Holding up now attempting to get clean.

Just curious, did you have anything else in your system such as benzos or alcohol? This would make an OD more likely, although it seems as though you ODd regardless.

Stay safe. Do test shots. Don't get high alone.
 
Everytime this has happened i also had about 50mgs of valium in me. Still going strong, hardest thing ive ever done but im glad about my choice. The imsomnia is the hardest part tho, just cant get a decent sleep and its affecting my work concentration, however i hope this will pass with another 7 days.
 
Do you know the purity of the dope? I had a "similar" situation (no alleys or kids looking at me though) and was on a bundle a day habit at the time. I copped a bag of some really nice white dope. Usually I'd snort the whole bag...well I did....guess what? I passed out and awoke at my friends house with them mighty upset. Clearly I was getting much more pure dope than I was used. If it wasn't for the fact I was taking all kind of other opiates on top, I'd say that bag would have been my last.

Know you source; do a test shot/bump. Don't assume you will always get the quality of dope your used to. Sounds like you just some very pure shit. Glad your alive ;)

Yeah. Test shots save lives.

Should make a tee shirt or bumper sticker with that shit on it because it's very true.

It's not uncommon for batches of dope to drastically differ in purity. Be careful out there, people.
