Ha! No. That's not what I meant. I meant I'm shite at replying to PMs in timely fashion so they tend to get a bit backed up... and I still haven't answered more than the one labelled "URGENT!" so far :o

Had that assessment thingy I'd forgotten about this afternoon and it went well. Still not entirely sure what exactly it is they do but seems to be general support and assistance. It apparently involves being taking out for coffee and a chat regularly so can hardly refuse can I? :D

just been playing pool, played the odd occasional flash in the pan brilliant shot, got incredibly frustrated at missing or fucking up relatively simple shots, but after 1 hour and 45 minutes everything clicked and started coming together again. It felt so good, even though i dont think i potted more than 4 or 5 balls in a row, thats just they way they rolled tonight, and things didnt open up easily. I could so easily get completely addicted to playing again, it makes me buzz like fuck bashing in flashy shots though ive only played about twice a year or something on average over the past few years.
 
^ I used to <3 pool. I went to a unit for emotinally disturbed children for a while when I left school a couple years early and spent 4-5h a day playing pool (was either that or... dunno what cos the other kids were a fukkin nightmare so I tended to avoid 'em). Perhaps unsurprisingly, I got really good after a while. Can't play for toffee now (why I would want to play for toffee I don't know but seems many people have done over the years) but still enjoy a game when I get the chance.

Am currently considering traipsing out in the frigid cold, howling gales and pissing rain (I may be slightly exaggerating but it definitely ain't as cosy as in here :!) to hunt and gather some dins. I already have dins but is the same thing I've been eating every night since I've been back home and am kinda sick of it. Variety being the spice of life and all that. Decision got made somewhere over the last couple sentences so will report back on exciting dinner-based developments as and when 8o

Anybody want anything from the shop whilst I'm going? Taking orders now.

Its surprising how quickly things come back, well it took 1 hour and 45 minutes tonight, but then we had to stop after 2 hours, as my mate was getting increasingly pissed off as i started geting increasingly better lol. Good luck with your dinner, my menu options have been simillarly limited to about 3 different recipes of late, but had a mcdonalds craving this evening that could not be resisted and cravings were fully satisfied.

Plus even though we said we werent going to drink alcohol a few pints have been consumed and ive still resisted fleeting ecig cravings so am all in all a rather happy bunny tonight. Bupe reduction day might be postponed by one day due to potential hangover issues though, any excuse i know. 8)
 
Damn, I'd love to start playing again, it must be over a year since I touched a cue. There is actually a snooker club at the end of my road at my new place in London, and I have my cue here, so I might have to pluck up the courage to stick my head in there and put in an hour or two of practise at some point, when I'm feeling a bit better from this damn surgery. It's a proper dingy looking East London club though, who knows what sort of characters I might find within! I never seem to see anyone going in or out come to think of it...
 
You might see a future Jimmy White, i believe he sprung from extremelly simillar circumstances. The stories go that he was making 50 breaks 2 weeks after he first picked up a cue, imagine having that much natural abilty, absolutely amazing, im not sure if these breaks were on a 6 or 7 footer home table or a proper full size 12 foot table but whatever the case the talent is incredible.

Snooker has defeated me, i did get reasonably good on occasions, but the occasions of frustration and torment when things werent up to par outweighed the occasions of joy and delight when things went well. :!
 
Bet you got really good good after all that time playing pooly shamby. i used to be pretty good at pool years ago

Sober friday has kinda gone a bit tits up, few vallies n vodkas. nowt major though, feeling very nice. tunes on

are you talking about *no vendor names* ? I didn't even know they sold RC's, just shite branded legal highs, although i've bought salvia from there before.

*no vendor names* is who I'm slating! All that *no vendor/brand names* bullshit, who knows what's in it? At least your man in *no shopping arcade names* sells stuff with legit "known rc" ingredients with correct chemical nomenclature!

Fuck the vendor names.

You mean TinyChat? Don't think anybody uses it now. Which is good cos it was really bloody annoying when they did cos EADD was a deadzone. Although that's often the case anyway of late.

In other news, two more people should now have PM replies. If I can work PMs anyway. Which is a legitimate question for sure.
 
Digichat started about 16/17years ago . It was a salvation for me after a parents induced rehab at the time. No booze no drugs and the internet was somewhere to inhabit for a while.... chatting and talking to people all around the world..it certainly filled a whole at the time. Ps it was instant chat rather than a message board format.
 
I don't recall if it did one way or t'other, Josh. Does ring a vague bell though. Vague bell suggests that there is good reason BL no longer hosts and IRC server but I could be listening to the wrong clanger.

Joe: TinyChat is an instant chat thingy. It's not part of BL but was very popular for a while. Fell sharply from favour when teh Lounge rats went and did what they're good at and did Bad Things with it.

I seem to remember logging into tinychat a few years back and there was a guy on cam with two kids half asleep on the couch and he was off his chops....Haven't logged on since. Phukin yanks eh..... anywho phukin anyone possibly really maybe eh....
 
ah sorry Knock, I (stupidly) didn't think that proper physical shops still counted as vendors.
