Propaganda video or truth?

I was with my friend and we were watching the below video on 4od and to begin with we were a bit shocked, but upon deeper analysis it seems to be propaganda in the UK against legal highs, the video is below:

If you are outside of the UK and can't watch this either try youtube or this:

If you watch it with a critical eye you will see things, for instance there is a scene with one of the main characters, 'Baxter' and his friend. They are seen to be cooking something in a spoon then injecting this IV, in the actual footage nothing is mentioned, but in recordings taken after which are played during the scene on the audio they're talking about 'KMEX' which is supposedly 5-MeO-Ketamine. Now to my knowledge (however small) 1) you don't 'cook' a ketamine analogue in a spoon and 2) you wouldn't IV a ketamine analogue. Baxter also states that he is addicted to heroin, they show a picture of a bag of KMEX during the clip but it seems to be done afterwards, so i think this is heroin.

Another point that i noticed was when they are in customs, a lady pulls out a big bag of white powder and scans it to check what's in the bag. She says a chemical name (I can't remember what it was but i'm pretty certain it was a synthetic cannabinoid). The rest of the clip is then very cut up and she states that this is a new club drug etc etc and tbh after that I just wasn't sure that the context in 90% of this is correct.

But give it a watch and see what you think, it's an interesting programme, but i've never seen or heard of anyone pushing RCs like this.

That's how I did it. The heat isn't strictly necessary, but if you don't apply at least a little then it takes a while for it to dissolve complete.y

2) you wouldn't IV a ketamine analogue.

Why not? It provides a much nicer high than snorting the stuff, and it's much more efficient so more bang/buck.

Wouldn't IV?

Best ROA for many of the arylcyclohexylamine dissociatives actually just as far as personal preference goes. I absolutely loved MXE, 4-MeO-PCP, deschloroketamine, methoxyketamine etc. (and especially, 3-hydroxy-PCP, a true gem when IVed).

Really? Tbh i don't know all that much about Ketamine analogues, i was going off the general advice to IM ketamine, but if you watch the video it does definitely look fishy, especially considering the fact he states that he addicted to heroin at the end of it.

Ketamine has some activity on opiod receptors if I'm not mistaken. I haven't watched the video but being a heroin addict myself, doesn't mean that I don't enjoy using other drugs as well.

Yeah, I think the guy was called Baxter? He sold EPH to his friends as a cocaine substitute. Ritalin as a party drug? We're in desperate times alright.

I'd say this documentary was actually fairly unbiased for a UK drug documentary which really isn't saying much. It's propaganda of course;.tv companies are simply incapable of a truly unbiased stance toward drug use. Notice the horror music playing whenever anybody took a substance in this film? Drug users aren't allowed to be seen as having fun and enjoying using a drug; it's virtually an unbreakable law of broadcasting. Why do you think they chose heroin-addicted Baxter as the "star" of the piece?
Why not an average recreational user?

Yeah that's the one, good to have a seconds opinion, it was just when she stated that an obscure cannabinoid was a party drug and one of the biggest new drugs to hit the market...

They're always looking for the "big new drug" epidemic corrupting our youth; when they find something really juicy such as spice or mephedrone, it escalates into a full-blown moral panic, which sells a shit load of "news". Recently, they've been trying to market nitrous oxide as "hippy crack" lol.

I just hope they don't ruin noids; I've just started using these myself. The rule of thumb with any legal intoxicant is: if it actually works, it's probably gonna be next in the media firing line.

I don't want them to get LSZ or AL-LAD to be honest! It's a shame though, they make up a street name such as 'meow meow' get the papers to publish a few death and addiction stories and boom illegal

LOL it's like a secret formula; it only works if they have a catchy "street" name for a drug. Damn right they invented the name "meow meow"-what self-respecting drug user would ask for a G of Meow Meow?!

Trying to set off a full-blown moral panic with names such as 5fpb22, mephiopropamine, akb48, ephylphenidate, diphenidine, to name but a few, is probably gonna be more difficult for them; they're more likely to confuse people than have them reaching for their torches and pitchforks.

As for myself, I'm hoping the benzo class RC's will be left alone, and the cannabinoids. I can't kid myself this thing will last forever, but I hope there's still some mileage in it.

Btw, never heard of AL-LAD or LSZ myself; what do they do?

I'll have to look into that one. I do like my Hawaiian Woodrose seeds; they've got a drug (forget the name) that's a tenth the strength of LSD; I usually crunch around 8-10 of them very slowly and get a pretty intense trip

Ketamine is probably the most common drug taken intravenously in the Toronto area right now.

It's too bad Canada has a blanket ban on PCP and ketamine analogues, there are many I would like to try.

LSA is whats in them

Yeah, that's the one. I'm a fan myself, so LSZ sounds pretty interesting to me. I never did get to drop acid; it's very rare where I am, so I've always been more into the organics: shrooms, psychadelic truffles, trippy seeds, etc.

I'm pretty sure LSA containing seeds are completely legal. Course, that's only in the uk though; other countries are tougher on legal intoxicants for sure. If it's legal where you are, I definitely recommend it-the trips are intense without becoming overwhelming. (At least, at the right doses).

I'm into my synthetic cannabinoids too. I only make my own blends using the pure noids; I don't trust what's in a pre-made blend.
