No it isnt. I was on about the materialistic pursuit of never being satisfied with what you have, as some people allways want a bigger or better car, TV, House, hifi, headphones, clothes etc etc. Im partially like that, I dont care about having the newest gadgets, but i do like good quality audio/visual equipment, and would like a better car. Im not gonna bother with the bigger house in a better area, thats just too much a millstone around your neck being mortgaged for ever and a day.
Knock was just on about putting food on the table and paying the bills i think.
Haha - so you mean yes (or no) not arguing just asking ? Materialist pursuit - (for who's benefit/when do 'you' decide what I need as materialistic?) who has instilled this 'goal' that you feel you need to pursue? Is my life empty without the latest must have (tv, 5s, 85''tv,child, etc) - why? Because somebody told me it was?
If you go a bit deeper into this - food / table - materialistic but pretty much unobtainable for a lot of people?

To be fairs to brimz, blondin was making cheap shots. So what if brimz swore back?
I was bit of a twat to blondin a couple of weeks back and he called me a cunt. That wasn't snipped out. I didn't mind him calling me that cus I was bit of a cunt to him. If I had I would have reported it.
If you act like a prick and make twatish comments its to be expected that a person will be a rude back to you.
Either delete what blondin wrote as well as brimz or unedit brimz post.
I will leave it there.

It's all relative innit? Life could be 25 years of toil and eating hand-to-mouth with no luxuries, just basic shelter. And for some people, somewhere, it is... in the UK most people, but not all, have some basic security of accommodation. Then you've gotc***s people living in actual palaces with hundreds of empty rooms and staff running about after them, and other people living in vast mansions with huge estates and owning big chunks of London collecting rent from the the people who are just sort of scraping by.
As I say, it's relative, when you've got "neighbours" (I use the word loosely) like that then it sets a certain (impossible) expectation.

im a bit of a hypocritical semi non materialistic person. I justify it on the grounds of quality. Its ok to want something because its better quality IMO, but not OK just to want something just because its the latest newest version, i really hate all that shit about mobile phones and stuff. The materialist is never going to be happy, they will never be satisfied with what they have. Myself I'll be satisfied with a top of the range 40 - 45 inch TV and maybe a top of the range sound system to go with it and a better car, allthough my current one is perfectly decent enough to be enjoyable to drive, the materialist in me wants something faster. I cant afford any of this without a job though and had to get a bottom of the range cheapo TV when my last one broke.
I am lucky for the moment at least, in as much that at least i havent got any serious worries about being able to afford enough decent food to eat and paying the bills, allthough i have to make efforts to cut the costs of my bills, as I dont know when I'll next have any income. I worked for 20 years and saved a bit of money during that time, which i am now living off. Knock was on about people struggling just to pay for the essentials; food on the table, and pay the bills if they can afford to.

Wish some of this 'proper' stuff would rear it's head in the North West (England that is)
I picked up a teenth today and it's changed, again.
I did a .3 shot before and it left some mush in the bottom of the spoon after I filtered it, fuck knows what it's mixed with, wasn't too bad of a hit though.
Better than the last stuff I had, it was giving me an awful histamine reaction after every shot, hives, pins & needles, flushing etc...Not enjoyable at all!

Brimz man....Do you get prescribed, or ever had, the OxyNorm liquid?
I get it in 10mg/ml solution and I don't know what it is but it seems to be much less effective to me.
I feel more from a 40mg line (half an OC80) insufflated than 100mg of OxyNorm liquid.
Weird.

Ok guys I got a quick question.. I f'd up today and went to get se syringes I really wanted to try the lovely gear I got last night IV as it smoked gorgeous..
..anyway, the chemist that does the needle exchange was closed today (damn it!!) so had to buy some 0.5ml ones from another chemist which are tiny. I had no citric either so I put a few drops of lemon juice along with about 0.1 of brown into a tablespoon and the water I drew the syringe full of water with so a 0.5ml syringe full and cooked it as usual..
..now this is the strange part - (if you remember I said this stuff was awesome to smoke last night), when I cooked it up just now there was a lot of parts that didn't dissolve, much more than I expected. Is this a cut do you think or did I not use enough lemon or what?.. I also had to burn it longer than I ever did before and even added a bit more water but then when I went to filter it the solution knly filled half the syringe, which would mean a lot of water evaporated right?
Basically I need to know if I have no citric (which I don't) then how many drops of lemon juice should I use?.. And how much water?
Now it did still work, I'm stoned but just not as well as I thought it should have worked you know?
Any ideas would be great thanks people!

I know what you mean.
Some of the stuff I've been getting recently has KO'd me when I've had a smoke so, like you, I've thought can't wait to have an IV of it.
Couple of days later I cooked up some of the same stuff (with citric) thinking it would only need a tiny bit assuming it was strong gear, and to my surprise I needed quite a a bit and there was alot left in the bottom of the spoon and I too had to add a bit more water and carry on cooking, it took ages to cook up and I boiled alot of the solution away.
I was also confused because it seemed ALOT stronger when smoked, I thought a bag of it IV'd would knock me out but it just seemed average, took ages to cook up and required quite a lot of citric.
Now, I can't comment on using lemon juice as I've always had citric/vit c on hand from the exchange, just thought I'd share my experience.
