Opioids so um yeah tried hydrocodone...

so at about 8:30pm today i took 15mg of hydrocodone and its now 9:24 and still pretty much nothing. so what gives? oh i weigh 130lbs if that helps any
 
No offense I don't know your age background etc… However this is one of those why can't I get high, or how can I get higher kind of things, don't try and become an addict. Different drugs effect different people differently thats all there is to it.

I have taken opiates for years, tons of oxycodone and still would feel 10mg of Hydrocodone so who knows, consider yourself lucky don't try to step it up to oxycodone unless you want an addiction
 
i mean im no stranger to drugs i've tried cannabis, DXM, Ambient, and some others. but i don't know maybe it's a different high that i'm not used to what am i supposed to be feeling?
 
^Next time try waiting at least two hours after you eat, personally I try to wait 3-4 after eating even though it's probably unnecessary. You may have just underdosed, with no tolerance it takes me about 25mg to really feel it(keep in mind I'm about 25 pounds heavier than you). Earthbounded does have a good point, you really dont want to go chasing a high.
 
yeah i understand it's dangerous to chase a high but i got excited when i bought my pills and i didn't do much research on it i researched what was a good starting dose and how long it's supposed to last and when i was supposed to start feeling it, but i just really wanted to have a good experience from it should i try another 15mg tomorrow or if i want a high should i go up by like 5mg's to 20mgs? also i have like noticed a very small amount of effect like a little teeny bit like not much more then a buzz from cigarettes and like even less maybe
 
OP, is it the first Opiate you use ? Because Opiate/Opioid doesnt get you so really high. Most people who use opiate use them to relax, numb feelings, reduce anxiety, etc. Theres a little bit of euphoria but like I say its not like other kind of drug you take to get high. The effect are more subtle.

And like Earthbounded said if you never took opiates you better say away from them, they are very addictive and cause physical and psychological dependence. Read a little bit about Opiate withdrawal that might change your mind. Its pretty much the worst withdrawal you can ever have with any drug.

ok thank you for the advice yeah it's my first time trying an opiate. i guess i was expecting something different i'll try to stay away from these types of drugs, the only reason i did was cuz i have this list of drugs that i wana try. i know its dumb but its whatever.
 
It's because you didn't take enough try 30 mg next time. I am a very experienced opiod user and am currently addicted to H . And my first opiate was also hyrdrocodone.. Please be careful and don't make a habit of it but opiates give u some of the most euphoric and best high feeling in my opinion.
 
You probably gotta naturally high tolerance to hydro man just take more next time (dont overdo it just try 30mg and work yer way up) or switch to oxy because it is stronger. You can try a 15mg oxy an see if that does anything.
 
There's no real "high" to be found with opioids. I mean there kind of is but it's more of a warm comforting buzz that helps people make it through their most miserable days. Comparable to LOW dose of alcohol and a small amount of marijuana i'd say, though much more effective by itself than either...for pain that is.

You use them for pain relief mainly.

Of course some people would drink a bottle of windex if you said it'd get them high lol.
 
Not everyone who uses opiates finds them euphoric. (Euphoria is listed as a *possible* side effect of hydrocodone, incidentally). Just be glad you're not in the group who gets dizzy and pukes their guts out!
 
I'm just going to add my 2 cents here and to cut it short hydrocodone is what started my addiction. If it's your first please don't think you want get addicted like I thought it's no joke. My long journey has lead me to many different opiates including herion and many withdrawals and to bribing doctor's just to keep my 200 a month prescription of 30 mg roxies going aka Oxycodone and my 150 a month of 8mg dilaudid and it's to the point I don't go one day without opiates and when I run out I drive around my city until I find someone to buy from. And now it's getting hard to keep paying 1500 a month for pain pills so I'm looking for a cheaper alternative such as research chemical.

And to think it all started with a couple small vicodin pills. It's no joke. Please for your on sake stay away.

I've been in and out of jail and finally prison cause of any and all painkillers . Yea the pain goes away but prison your family loved ones everything you care about is the KILLER part.... Think about it first my friend I'm 45 yrs old starting my life over.

I'm gonna have to agree with this guy. Iv heroin is one of the most euphoric things on this planet. Under any circumstances you should never try heroin let alone go to the needle. Your lucky if you don't like opiates, consider it a godsend, took me all but 6 months to go from needing 30mg of hydro to nod to shooting dope. Take it as a blessing man its one habit you don't want
 
Thank you watermelon and well said that's a road you don't want to go down I wouldn't wish opiate addiction on my worst enemy but they deff the best high of any type of drug in my opinion and I have tried nearly everything and most things I've gotten into for a time I have lots of experience with all sorts of different kinds of drugs and the opiate high is the only high that was so good it was impossible for me at least to stop. But to say that opiates don't actually have a ( high ) is the dumbest thing I've heard lol
