Let me get this straight. Marriage is a religious ceremony, right? A covenant between that couple and God.

Some may see marriage as a religious ceremony if 'they' wish it to be (Who cares why anyone else gets married) can we not just be happy for them and get on with our own lives?

To me it is a legal contract that solves so many open ended questions (give's us both legal rights that every person deserves).
