Donation to Shulgins

I had a couple of dollars worth of bitcoins left over from a SR purchase I made a few months ago. Due to the recent rise in bitcoin value, it's now worth about $40. I was thinking about using it to buy something I haven't tried yet but then I read about the Shulgin's donation address and decided to send it to them. After all the wonders that Shasha has given me, I can forgo one new experience to help him out.

1 bit coin is worth 1000 dollars currently.

also, don't just donate when there are actual legitimate auctions out there.
You could own a rare piece of blotter art signed by them.
Like i have framed on my wall.

There is nothing non legitimate about donating directly.
it's just it feels kind of non reciprocal.

The shulgins are very very giving people and the fact that these auctions exist is so
someone can say
"i donated this, and now i have this collectors item"
Which in turn in the future helps make back the cost of your donation.

I look at it as heirloom collecting from a time, that is soon to pass.
I help someone and I got a collectable which they otherwise have no use for.

Also, Buy The Shulgin Index directly from them. Not Amazon.
Same thing with pihkal and tihkal.

Awesome logic! It's great seeing these threads popping up with support pour out for Sasha. For all he has contributed he surely deserves every bit that he gets. It's sad to see his health deteriorating, but ultimately it is a fate we all will encounter, and hopefully by then we will have contributed something to the world that can be measured on the same scale of profundity as Shulgin's.
 
Man, if shulgin got even like a dime, everytime one of his compounds was injested...

Okay so lets imagine, that Coca Cola, has a Chemical make up.

Some other guy invents a different bottle, but uses Coca Cola's Formula.

Now it's still a Chemical, it's enjoyed by people.
But what would you do, if the formula, in a different bottle, ended up driving the main product out of business.

Basically what i am saying is, Shulgin is like Coca Cola, only in 151 different flavors
that man put love into his creations.
These Chinese knock offs suck... i mean sure the bottle is cooler, you get more, but there was no Love put into the manufacture.

Where are all of the little Shulgins of the world?
hiding in missile silos?
 
yea if only shulgin got $ for his work....instead, because of our laws...the chinese are making BILLIONS off of his discoveries and probably poisoning all of us with dirty by products in the meantime
