psychosis from long lasting psychedelic amphetamines (DOx series)

So I procured some DOC and got to thinking, does the DOx series carry the same risk of psychosis as traditional amphetamines? If I'm up for say 30 hours or so (unlikely as I have plenty of xanax and etizolam) am I likely to have a visit from the shadow people or hear voices and such? I ask because I had a strong overdose on adderal when I was young and ever since I don't react too well to amphetamines. I'm at an increased risk for psychosis and tachycardia. I've taken aMT plenty of times and never had problems with the duration but then again aMT isn't a psychedelic amphetamine AFAIK. Personal experiences from people who have been up for long periods of time on psychedelic amphetamines would be ideal but I'm open to any info regarding this matter.

Edit: I'm also assuming the DOx series carries the same MAOI properties as traditional amphetamines as well right? I plan on adding other chems to the mix if effects are too weak as opposed to dosing more and more DOC due to the already long duration.

Similar to any other hallucinogen. DOC is a long flight but it's about as manageable as LSD, IMO. I don't believe DOC really elevates blood pressure or pulse rate in itself. A benzo should suffice if you're feeling a little off. I've had some pretty long trips on DOC and not once seemed to be 'going south', even in higher dosages. bromo-DragonFLY on the other hand kept me pretty wired for a few days - great for the music festival I was attending.

DOC is the only DOx I have experience with but from what I've heard it's one of the shorter acting DOxs. I have plenty of experience with amphetamine psychosis and I have'nt had any trouble when staying up for long periods of time while tripping. During my last trip I took 5mgs of DOC and then dosed ~400ugs of lsd about 12 hours afterwards and was up for 24+ hours, other than being totally exhausted I had a great time.

Well I was assuming the risk of psychosis would be higher with DOC due to the fact that it's related to amphetamines more so than other psychs like tryptamines. I don't mean like having a bad trip, more like when the effects are all done with and I'm left with the residual stimulation and lack of sleep will I feel strung out like someone who was on traditional amphetamines for the same time ie. Conspiracies, psychosis, talking to people who aren't there etc. I doubt so because I've never heard of it from TR's, just in case reports of the notorious STP overdoses when the drug hit the scene.

Thanks that's what I figured

As a person who used to enjoy amphetamines alot.
I have Sampled DOC.
Having the tolerance, that i have developed over the ages.
other people i know who have barely touched MDMA, absolutely LOVE the compound.
They consider it to be like LSD with an extended duration.
DOC for me, isn't really psychedelic. It just feels like AMT with that much more of an Amphetamine push.
if anything for me, it was for reminding me as to why i do not like Amphetamines anymore.

DOB is purely hallucinogenic. In my books
DOM is purely hallucinogenic. as well.
but for some reason DOI and DOC for me, just remain over stimulating to the point of being physically and mentally exhausting.
Only without any sleep for a couple days.

In terms of mechanism, AMT (the tryptamine homologue of amphetamine) is way more similar to classical stimulants than DOx series compounds, the latter not interacting with monoamine transporters in any significant way.

ebola

Thanks for clearing things up :). Didn't know that aMT was that closely related to amphetamine, could explain why it's speedy and feels like MDMA to me. Also good to know that DOC doesn't have any significant action on MAO.
